Now thousands of years ago this god, Aldur created a magical orb, His Brother, The God Torak stole this Orb. AFter many years of war Torak used the Orb to crack a large fissure into the world and basically cleave the continent in half. The Orb was angered by this and in retribution melted off half of Toraks face and disintegrated his left hand. Belgareth the Sorceror, One of Aldurs disicples steals the Orb back 2ooo years later. It then becomes his and his daughter, Polgaras job to gaurd a line of a certain family because this family is going to give birth to "The GodSlayer" Who will defeat Torak and reunite the world.
