Im glad you liked it^^ The story behind it was that Ekyt was denied access to the chunin exams, and he was drinking with Tsunade and Jiraiya. He got the courage up to tell Sakura how he felt, when Sasuke returned to the village. Ekyt caught him making plans to help Orochimaru, so he attacked. Sasuke pretended he was innocent and everyone believed him, so Ekyt left the village. When he was summoned back, Sasuke and the Sound Village were destroying the Leaf Village. Ekyt and Temari came back and helped turn the tides.

The crowd came into play because every ninja was fighting off the Sound ninja, and eventually they saw Ekyt fighting Sasuke. So that's why there was a crowd.

Poor Ekyt. I was talking to Neopetgirl, and she said that (based on what I've said about myself) That I'm like Ekyt, except that Ekyt is a 'curious' perv. Personally, I'd call him an accidental or reluctant perv. Some of this stuff I don't make up, lol! Some girls would jokingly hit on me, so I kind of took some of their ploys and decided to have the kunoichi tease Ekyt. The only difference is they're his friends, not some random jerk XD

It's that Hamagakure one I posted, then took down. Although, this happens in my fics a lot, lol.

I've got one more for you, then I'll stop sending these ramblings, lol. This is another 'injury' angle, but it's just as corny imho:


“CHIDORI!” Sasuke hit full speed, aiming for Ekyt. Ekyt found he couldn’t make his legs work. He had to think of a counter, or he was going to be dusted by Sasuke’s attack.
“Striking Shadow Snakes!” Ekyt shouted, suddenly getting an idea. Four snakes burst from his sleeve. It was such a surprising move Sasuke couldn’t dodge it. This jutsu was invented by Orochimaru, and known only to a select few. The fact that Ekyt knew it was strange. The fact that he had USED it was downright scary. Most of Konoha shied away from any jutsu used by Orochimaru. In this case, it was a last-ditch gamble to save a life, and it paid off.
The snakes slowed Sasuke to a jogging pace. The Chidori struck home, right against Ekyt’s ribs, as the snakes had altered Sasuke’s course. Ekyt’s ribs protested, but they held. Sasuke and Ekyt fell to their knees, both in pain and injured.
“How…are you…still alive?” Sasuke coughed out.
Ekyt looked him in the eyes, a hard gaze that would haunt Sasuke for years. “I can’t die yet. Too many wishes…and promises…unfulfilled. By the way…you lose…Because I’ve got one more jutsu in me…”
For the second time that night, Ekyt was going to use it:
“BLUE FLAME PROTECTION SEAL!” He shouted with the last of his chakra in his hand. He pushed his hand onto Sasuke’s neck. Sasuke’s curse mark receded from his body, back to his neck. The mark itself was surrounded with a wreath of blue chakra. The chakra forced the curse back into the mark, then sealed the mark.
A sound ninja ran forward and picked up Sasuke’s unconscious form. Ekyt fell forward, both chakras exhausted, and only a small measure of stamina remaining.


Sakura pushed herself to the front of the crowd, leaping down beside Ekyt. “Oh God…this is bad…” Sakura whipped out a kunai and cut open Ekyt’s vest and chainmail shirt. His ribs were still under the strain of using so much chakra. When Sasuke’s Chidori had hit him, the ribs had begun to buckle. One of the ribs was up against his lung, threatening to puncture it.
“Chakra Scalpel!” Sakura’s hand began to glow with an electric blue energy. She put her palm over Ekyt’s ribs and focused her chakra. It was so powerful it was literally visible. It grew as she concentrated; it’s healing powers mending Ekyt’s ribs.
Tsunade looked on quietly. She flashed back to her beloved Dan dying. He was laying there, just like Ekyt. Ekyt’s injuries weren’t as serious, but the thought still shook Tsunade to the core. And the blood the kid had lost was unreal…same as Dan.


Sakura reached across Ekyt to check his other shoulder. No serious injury, but he was gonna be aching for a while.
“Ekyt, you’re going to be fine. But, before I let you up, you have to tell me: What were you going to say to me earlier, by the gate?”
Ekyt bit his knuckles nervously; could he really say it?
“Sakura…I was saying…damn, I’ll never get it out…” Ekyt was clearly frustrated that he couldn’t seem to word this right.
Sakura cocked her head to the side, but held him down. He was too weak to fight her off anyway.
“I was going to say…that…You are beautiful, intelligent, and way out of my league.”
Sakura blushed, then giggled.
“Does that translate to “I’m in love with you?”, hmmm?”
Ekyt nodded stupidly. “Pretty much, yeah.”
Sakura giggled again. “Well, I admire bravery. You fought Sasuke, and now you got up the courage to tell me that you loved me…I know how hard it must have been for you…”
Ekyt closed his eyes. Here it comes…the “No chance in hell” part…no, she’ll be nicer, and let me down gently. Something like “I just lost Sasuke, I can’t do it…
“So I’ll just be honest, since you were honest with me. You ARE in my league. And you must be damn near the bravest boy I’ve ever met. I felt that chakra…the raw emotion…it tears you apart, doesn’t it? But you hold it in, just so you can use it in times like this…and taking that attack for me…You were honest with me, so I’ll be honest with you, too.”
Sakura paused, then gently slid her gloved hand into Ekyt’s open palm, closing it tightly in.
“I’m in love with you, too.”
Ekyt was a mass of blood and sweat, but somehow Sakura didn’t seem to care. She wrapped him in a fond hug despite his state. It took him a couple seconds, but he returned the embrace. Their gloved hands still entwined, Sakura pulled Ekyt’s mask down, giggled at the look of shock on the stoic boy’s face, then kissed him on the cheek.
