Good! He shouldn't threaten to bite when I'm just telling the truth. (I'm good w/ loopholes, lol, so poor A1 hasn't been able to bite me becuase I site some obscure rule in this strange "contest")lol, well, the nickname is a joke, really. You can thank A1 partially for it. I think he came up with it. Maybe I did, I'm not sure.
Anyway, I was reffing some men's league one night. I was walking to the ref's locker room, when a girl in a towel walked in. So I stopped and turned to one of the rink's regulars. He had a big smile on his face. "hey, you've got a game to ref, go get ready champ."
So I walked in, and there are three other refs getting dressed. As soon as I walk in (Being the youngest, I get ribbed a lot) they call to the girl "Hey, give him the show." She shouted back a nasty line.
See, I wasn't privy to the knowledge that women shower in the ref's room. As you might imagine, my reaction was Ekyt-ish. The other three guys were ribbing me to no end for it, but I wouldn't look at the girl when she walked past. I mean, the shower was seperate and everything, so it's not like she was ever in plain view. But, I mean, I've got my morals, so I just tied my skates...for about ten minutes straight, lmao!
The other refs are making little wise cracks, telling her to "give the kid the show". I heard her say "I think I've been verbally molested!" but she laughed and left. I looked up and I said to the others. "You guys are the shoots. Absolute perverts, no respect for women!"
I told A1 about this strange occurence and he called me "Jiraiya". I responded by saying that I was a samurai. So, now I'm saddled with the legendary nickname:
Pervy Samurai.
Despite the fact I didn't even look, being the nice guy with high moral standards I am (lol, that sentence cracked me up, sorry), the nickname stuck.
You read the ch where Ekyt goes in the makeout bar. His reaction was more or less mine.
I've got that new ch up now.
