Well ok, so my names Wes and yes i'm a girl. ( Look its me up there yay ^^ )I live in an undisclosed location which happens to be in the middle of a range of desolate salt flats, and i'm incompetent and mostly lazy. As for my art...
I typically make a point of using no computer whatsoever in any of my artwork ( except scanning of course) and my mediums are also mostly traditional. Watercolor is what i prefer, and plain old pencil and pen. But i'm sure you don't care about the medium.

Ok guys.I, am having a hard time. I can't get anything done. I can't concentrate on any of it.. I hate all my art. I can't understand the new layout.

"What do you use to make the lines of the guitar strings so thin? And how do you make them stand out from the blue?"i draw with flash 8 pro. it's a program for animating but i draw with it. u can change the colors of your lines and how big or small u want them. it's really easy to use :)

yes, that is a little random...well, naturally, i suppose i would get something aerosmith related on the small of my back, but i've always wanted a pair of lips there (not necessarily anything to do with steven though; i've always liked lips.) maybe with a tongue and a smartass phrase... or perhaps some crazed pair of eyes on the back of my neck, like all blood shot. i've always thought that would be cool... why do you ask? what would you do?

hey...sorry, as well, for MY late response.. i haven't been on much, obviously, and i haven't done any decent drawings for the past couple of months save for a few i've just recently posted.
anyway, ive checked out some of your work again... by some i mean everything including the one ive already seen :).. and i have to say, your line work, shading and light effects are totally awesome.. for that fact i am totally jealous! *___* ! ive been trying to work out on that and so far, havent made much improvement. plus i luv the fact that u have so much original character draws as well as abstract color combinations, that if i may say so myself, are more than just eye-catching.
keep up the good work! and hope to see more updates... hopefully soon..

Ok guys.. heres the thing about requests:I only do them if i either know you and want to do it, or if its a good thoughful idea and is in my interest. If you think your idea is worth it, (i.e not some anime character that you want me to draw fracking a pokemon or something..) then tell me what it is.
The reason for this being, i don't draw anime, and i'm lazy.

hey thanks for the comment. HA! green, oh i get it! envy... yes. funny shoot, man.yeah, artstix are made out of the same stuff as colored pencils, but without the wood wrapper they put on them; so they're made for large, dark lines. so i have to sharpen them with a knife when i wanna do half way decent looking shoot.

and about that one 'early days' i think you hit the nail on the head! i love him when he's stoned. it's so much fun to draw and capture that awesome feeling. (all my stuff is colored pencil on plain old printing paper by the way)

Thanks for your comment. It wasn't really hard but that's probably because I'm used to working with digital media. I like your style though I could never draw like that. And you love watercolor? I would love to paint but I don't know how. I find it interesting that in a modern world full of computer technology you choose traditional mediums. What ARE some of us supposed to do anyway... those of us who haven't the talent to make a career of this artwork, but have some amount of a passion. It confuses me as to the reason of it, that it would be meager to attempt something like that, on this little unknown art site, which we feel the need to expose a little circle of onlookers to our talents. eeeeer, as for the pens i use, it's a 0.35, i also have a 0.18 which is the finnest you can get i think lol.......it's seriously thin!....and yes i do use pencil for the rest of my work ^^
