Gah.. spent so much time with this. ;_; Even more than that other Sora pic I did. &amp;amp;gt;.&amp;amp;lt; I mean, the first sketch I did of this took me 3 hours, and I spent another 3 hours coloring in Sora.. only to trash that pic and redraw it. ;_; Guh.

Anyway, it's for a contest on the Kingdom Hearts Ultimania site. The theme was "Using any medium you wish, draw your favourite character(s) from the Kingdom Hearts Series on vacation in an interesting style." So I put Riku, Sora and Kairi in Neverland. =3 It takes place after KHII. I figured they'd need a place where they could just relax and be children again. =3 And then I felt bad for Roxas, so I stuck him and his friends there in the back. Yeah.

I haven't submitted this into the contest yet. It ends Thursday, the 31st. But there's still a lot of things in the picture I need to fix. =/ So some constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated. One of my main questions is, should I keep the group in the back or erase them? I feel I didn't do my best on them, and I'm afraid that by putting them in, I might actually be making the pic look worse. =/ And some tips on how to make it look more like Neverland would help. I wanted to put Tink in there, but the rules for the contest said no Disney characters allowed, except for Mickey, Donald and Goofy. The background doesn't look great either. ;.; So yeah...

Some help please. ;_;

Edit 8/30/06: Okay.. Worked on the background some more and fixed Kairi and Riku's wrists. I think. Also widened Riku's chest and added some reflective water light.. things. xP Hope it looks a bit better now. =3

Edit 8/30/06: Last edit, I think. I just went through and edited some things. =3 Reworked some of the outlines and added sparklies into the pixie dust. x3 I'm pretty sure that's it. I'm submitting it into the contest now. =3

9/2/06: Wow! I got a featured pic? O.O Omg! Thanks for all the comments! This has totally made my day! xD

Wow. The only thing I can find wrong with it is that Riku looks a little stiff and the dude with the camo pants in the background (can't remember his name) looks a little too small and short. He was bigger lol.

Wicked sweet awesome pic. I can just imagine something weird happening, maybe one of Sora nad Riku's powers, or maybe Tinkerbell (lol) that'd make them fly like that. That's just awesome.

The pne more thing... I think Kairi's face looks just a teensy bit too long, just a tad too boxy.

But I could never in a billion years draw something this awesome. My best (by hand) art is a mere funny curiosity, yours is a spectecale. I salute thee, King/Queen or art. (I'm never sure, and don't read profiles lol)

eh, well, i guess it's a bit too late now, but putting in my constructive critisism: Roxas's hair looks a teeny bit weird, and to make it look more like neverland... hm... maybe the sky would be a teency bit darker? I dunno, maybe that's just me >.> hm...

it really is good but everyone in the back is kinda doing there own thing and in a way you've kind of excluded them. I mean its good like really good but I would take out the Roxas group and leave Riku, Kairi, and Sora were there at. Oh if you need more ideas for Neverland watch the movie and scetch some of the things in there that you think you might need, but I think you've pretty much have everything covered you did a great job. I hoped I helped you and good luck with the contest I hope you win. n_n If you do request or trades let me know ok? I need ideas and school has taken my inspiration. the picture is really well done, how ever before you submit it you might want to work on the back ground details as they look a bit rushed, not so much the water or boat and all, but the leaves of the tree's that's all. Also you may want to tone in the arms on Kairi as they seem a little manish, and take a look at your own arms and other peoples bods, it help you understand anatomy better (although i'm one to talk since i suck at anatomy >.<). other then that i'm rather in love with your picture (gotta love Kairi shirt ^^))
you may want to reconcider the characters in the back ground as well as they lower the standared of the over all image.
but... NEVER CHANGE SORA'S HAIR! it is b-e-a-utiful!

NOT only is the color job absoluetly FANTASTIC, but you managed to detail muscles in the body with out even drawing them! The fairy dust is absoletly spiffing, and I am just in AWE by how well this is drawn and colored!! The hair and fairy dust would have to be my favorite part.
