Sam: *quietly* Good acting there, Sarah.

Sarah: *whispers back* You too. Hopefully he fell for it... and hopefully the creators weren't lying.

Everyone: *fights*

Lucifer: *he holds her up, then picks her up and carries her to the bed, lying her down and putting the covers over her body. He leans down to whisper to her again* Your need to sleep increases... feel like you're floating once more... it feels nice...

Imperia: *smiles a bit, fully falling asleep* feels... nice...

Lucifer: *crawls in next to her. He runs his fingers through her hair. He continues whispering to her* Yes... it does... it feels nice... and as you drift about endlessly, fall deeper and deeper into sleep... be blissful... you don't have to understand what's going on to know that you like it...

Imperia: *her content smile remains, and she sighs blissfully, lost in Lucifer's illusion, deep in sleep* like it...

Lucifer: he backs away from her. He was done. Smiling, he closes his eyes, and forces himself to try sleeping like Imperia did. Like a mortal*

Imperia: *remains in her deep, blissful sleep until morning*

Sarah: *still completely fast asleep, she doesn't realize that she's turned and hugged Sam tightly around the waist in her sleep*

Sam: *he slowly wakes up, only to find that something was tightly wrapped around his waist. When he checks to see what it is, he is completely caught off guard* ??? *he looks back at Sarah, finding her asleep* O///////O ????

Sarah: *reacts to his movement, shifting around a bit--she actually higs him more tightly, smiling a bit in her sleep*

Sam: !!?? *he fears waking her up, as the situation would be embarrassing for the both of them. He notices her smile, and looks at it with curiosity... what was she dreaming about?*

Sarah: *starts waking up, but is still rather disoriented, and doesn't seem to notice what she was doing* mnn...

Sam: *he wonders if he could ask her what she is dreaming about - then panics, and completely FREEZES when he notices her movement* O_O !!!

Imperia: *her eyelids start to droop, and she loses her balance, leaning against Lucifer and hanging on to him for support*

O. Harry: *had fallen to the ground and was now clutching his wound, gasping at the amount of pain entering him with each breath. Shaking he directs his unfocused gaze to Imperia* ...I... I'm sorry... Claire... we couldn't... help you... b-but... ... but I... still love you... I love you... so much... that I... never forgot you... once...

Claire: *stares in pure horror--she had just watched herself kill her husband in cold blood. The image was JARRING* No... no, no, no...!

Sarah: *can only stare in shock, overwhelmed by guilt--she had let him go out, she didn't watch him... and now she couldn't help him*

Imperia: *something in his words affects her, and she seems to snap--and Claire returns to the surface. She drops her gun, and falls to her knees, tears filling her eyes as she remembers everything--EVERYTHING she did, all the cruel things she did to him, and regretting ALL of it* Oh my god... Oh my god, Harry, no...!!

Lucifer: *becomes horrified himself when he sees Claire resurface* No!!

Harry: *he also stares in horror, then takes a few steps away from Claire*

O. Harry: *he weakly smiles at Claire as his blood slowly pools out onto the ground* ... Claire... you're back...

Claire: *gives one last look at her grieving twin, and follows after the others, still shocked into silence* ...

Key: *follows after Todd, putting a comforting arm around him--though she was just as distraught as he was*

Imperia: *continues to dance, never seeming to tire. Her content smile never wavers, and she holds a conversation with him, responding to his words, never missing a step*

Lucifer: *eventually he slows down in his dancing, making her slow down as well* ... everyone has left, Lady Imperia...

Imperia: *her smile only widens* That means we have the entire room to ourselves... *she steps closer to him so their bodies are touching, and rests her head against his shoulder, sighing happily* ...no one else needs to know...

Lucifer: *he just stares at Imperia when she does this - he remembers now, the last time he had danced with someone WAS in the Elizabethan era, when he had broken from Hell, back when it wasn't as heavily guarded... but it didn't end like this. Lucifer becomes confused when a new feeling enters him, a feeling seemingly springing from this moment like a tiger on its prey. For a few seconds, he met this confusing new feeling with anger, and he blamed the creators for doing this to him - for HUMILIATING him with things he could not explain - and then he blamed Imperia - what had she done to him? WHAT HAD SHE DONE TO HIM?? But then all that anger is taken over once more by that feeling... that WARMTH... and for once in a very long time, Lucifer smiled, and it was not from something evil or chaotic*

Imperia: *continues to rest against him, completely unaware of the feelings she was causing. Her fingers brush against his chest, as if she were fiddling with some part of his clothing in her dream* It's getting late... perhaps we should be off to bed...

Lucifer: Y-yes... this is... this is only the wise thing to d-do... *he bends down and whispers the command in her ear* Enter your bed... *he then backs away from her, deciding to lay in the bed as well. He moved himself under the covers, and lay himself down on the soft pillow* ...

Imperia: *gets into bed as commanded, then moves close to Lucifer, putting an arm over him, burying her face in his neck* mm... goodnight, Lucifer...

Lucifer: *he feels that warmth again* ... good night, Imperia... *he then starts to develop a need... a need to make Imperia happy. He doesn't understand why. Perhaps he could ask one of his slaves what the feeling was - no - wait -* ... *he looks over at Imperia. She was still a slave, damnit, so she could tell him. He places a hand on her head* do not awaken from your sleep... do not think at all... and do not remember telling me - just inform me of what it means when you feel a special sort of... inner WARMTH around a person.

Imperia: *smiles when he asks this of her, taking a deep breath and letting it out as a long sigh as a similar warmth overcomes her as well* warmth means affection... warmth means caring... *leans up and nuzzles him affectionately* Warmth means love...

Lucifer: *his eyes widen. Love? LOVE?? No! That couldn't be right - he was a FALLEN ANGEL, he had been tortured until the torturer FEARED HIM, and when he finally broke out, EVERYONE feared him - everyone fears him HERE - he was a demonic enforcer of sin and hatred - how could he feel LOVE? THAT was what that feeling was?? THAT?? Something was amiss here, this couldn't be it, this couldn't - he looked back at Imperia, who was nuzzling his neck, and that urge to make her happy passed through his mind once more, like a flash of lightning. Perhaps it was love. Oh well. A new experience was a new experience. He had humiliated her and humiliated her, made her beat her husband, made her do all sorts of things in his name... but none of those things made him feel this... GOOD... perhaps... perhaps he could give this "love" a try* Imperia... forget explaining the warm feeling to me... forget... *he then nuzzled her right back*

Imperia: mm... *nods, and smiles contentedly as he nuzzles her, holding him closer, then leaning up to kiss him, lovingly*

Lucifer: *he doesn't pull back this time - he kisses her back, and that warmth increases. He then breaks the kiss, whispering the command to her* ... sleep...

Imperia: mhmm... *buries her face back in his neck, then her eyes droop closed and she falls asleep as commanded, still smiling*

The Next Morning

Lucifer: *out of bed, standing in the room, he thinks of more ways to cause evil and chaos* ... Imperia, come here. Stand with me.

O. Harry: *is there, out of the bathroom now, and stares at Lucifer* ...

Imperia: *goes up to him, standing in front of him* What are your orders, Lucifer?

Lucifer: None yet. Here... *he puts his hand on her head* ... beating your husband isn't enough for you...

O. Harry: *twitches*

Imperia: *shudders, pleasure entering her body once again* Beating him isn't enough...

up
