Todd: *he wakes up and sees Key so very close to him. He speaks to himself under his breath* H'oh-kay... o////o;

Key: *stays very very very still, hoping he'll think she's still asleep*

Todd: *he doesn't want to wake her up, and he fears moving will do just that, so he stays still, hoping she'll wake up on her own* >////>;

Key: ..... *relaxes just a little bit--either he didn't mind her there, or he actually thought he was asleep and didn't want to wake her up. she decides to push her luck a bit and just stay there for a little while longer to see what happens* .......

Todd: *he stays there with Key, providing her with the warmth that she must have unconsciously moved over for. In the back of his mind, he wonders if Sam is mad at him* ...

Key: *after a few minutes, she decides that it's starting to feel a bit awkward, so she pretends to wake up. she glances up at Todd, then quickly scoots away* S-Sorry. D//////:

Todd: Hey, no, it's fine - warm body's y'know? Against, er... the cold apartment... so... so anyway - yeah! Let's just - uh, let's have breakfast then! D///8 *he gets up and puts a shirt on, then heads out into the main room*

Harry: *raises a brow*

Todd: G'morning, Harry! ^^;

Key: *gets out of bed, and pales when Todd talks to Harry outside--what would he think when she walks out there?? She's actually a bit nervous to go outside now* .... >/////////////>;;;;;;;;;

Harry: So where's Key, Todd?

Todd: Oh, y'know... ^^;

Harry: I don't.

Todd: ^^;;;;

Key: *really really doesn't want to leave the room. it'd be INCREDIBLY embarrassing* >////////////////<;;;; *she takes a deep breath and decides to just walk out, trying to look as casual as possible (which she most certainly didn't)* >////////>;;;;;;;;

Harry: Oh. Hello Key. Coming out of Todd's room. What were you doing in Todd's room, Key?

Key: *blurts out* IT WAS COLD LAST NIGHT! >X///////C

Harry: *snickers*

Key: *incredibly embarrassed, she sits down on the couch, crossing her arms and pouting dejectedly* XC

Harry: I'm only kidding. XP

Key: *harrumphs, unamused*

Harry: It's not like you guys, like, SLEPT with each other or anything.

Harry: The other kind of sleeping, Todd.

Key: *her need to keep warm overrides her embarrassment, and she shakes her head* N-N-No, I'll g-go. D////X *gets up, and quickly goes over towards the room* X////C

Todd: Sorry... <:P *he goes back into his room, opening the door for Key, then crawling back into bed* XC Mff...

Key: *very quietly shuts the door behind her, and skitters over to the other side of the bed, bringing her own blanket with her as she gets under the covers. she stays as close to the edge of the bed as she can to keep the awkwardness as low as possible*

Todd: *notices this and apologizes again* ... Sorry... goodnight, Key. ^^;

Key: *is still rather cold* S'ok-k-kay... g'night...

Todd: *he is later able to fall asleep, despite the uncomfortable circumstances*

Key: *takes a little bit longer to fall asleep, still feeling quite awkward, and quite cold*

*the next morning*

Harry: *in the main room, seeing as no one has woken up yet, he decides to pour his friends two bowls of cereal*

Key: *wakes up in Todd's bed. she immediately reddens, not because of the aforementioned fact, but because of how CLOSE he was all of a sudden. in fact, they were pressed right up against each other. on the upside, she was incredibly warm. perhaps that's how they ended up so close. she considered moving, but Todd was still asleep... and she couldn't say she didn't enjoy being there. she closes her eyes again, and smiles a bit, her face still extremely red--but she felt happy*

Todd: *he has yet to wake up, but feels nice and warm nonetheless*

Harry: *notices that Key's not sleeping on the couch and figures out what must have happened* :/

Key: *musters up a bit of courage, and snuggles closer, nuzzling into his shoulder. after a few moments of consideration, she carefully, gently puts her arm over him, trying hard not to wake him up*

Todd: *he smiles a little in his sleep*

Harry: *notes that the power's still out. How annoying. He sighs*

Key: *smiles more widely, feeling somewhat victorious. maybe one day, this could happen again...*

Todd: *he turns his head slight. He's waking up* ... Mmh...

Harry: *waits* ...

Key: !!! *freezes. whoops, she was too close, too close. She stays perfectly still and pretends to be asleep, hoping she could blame this on a dream or the cold or something*

Ceda Member: Stay safe. *walks down the hall with a wagon full of care packages*

*It's a few days since the first infection. Night falls, and the power goes out*

Key: *is shivering, feeling like she might freeze to death on the couch, the blanket Todd gave her not being nearly enough to keep her warm* ....

Todd: *he realizes that if HE'S cold, Key must be FREEZING. He resists the urge to smack himself, then gets up and pokes his head out of the room, whispering to Key* Key! Hey, Key! You awake? D:

Key: !! *sits up, pulling the blanket around her shoulders (not that it helped much)* Y-Y-Y-Yeah...

Todd: It's really cold, and you must be DYING out here... you wanna come sleep with me in my bed? D:>

Key: *is cold enough to feel her face get warmer and warmer as it reddens* ...u-u-uhm....

CEDA Member: For several weeks now, the world has come under fire of a new disease that our scientists are calling "the Green Flu". It is an airborne virus that is now spreading quickly in the United States. Do not panic! We are taking care of the problem quickly and with extreme care.
