I drew this shortly after reading The Thief Lord. Good book, I enjoyed it- (Is it just me or do I sound like a book reviewer?) ^^'

More to the point: This is how I imagined Scipio, with Venice in the background. Drawn with a black ballpoint pen (may it rest in peace), and the ground and background I did with a pencil. This took me about twenty minutes, and I didn't even have to redo it! Good thing, because that would have been next to impossible. Thief Lord! Wahoo!

Carmen_TakoshiOkay, I'm very aware that I keep on returning to your pics over...and over...and over...and over *ahem* again, BUT I just had to tell you that I have stayed true to my claim, and have picked up the Thief Lord at the library today! :D Hooray, Scipio! XD I think I read more than half the book in one day. You were right; it's so good! I feel like drawing Scipio now too. ^-^

Carmen_Takoshi*digs the shoes* Yes, pottery is evil as well. *winces at the memory* And me who had just managed to block that memory from my mind. *sweatdrop* God, that was a nightmare. I felt like throwing my pottery project out the window! oO

YoikawaMore so when you have to do pottery. I got my white sweater all dirty! I can see the distinction between Illustration and Art now. But not soon enough, I'm afraid. >.< I just know my art teacher hated me. She is evil! -.o

Carmen_TakoshiAw, dude, I'm boycotting your art teacher! *boycotts* I too, got crummy grades in art last year -.- Geez, I mean, art is awesome and all, but not when you are ordered to draw/paint/pastel (pastels are evil >
