Fluffybunny anubis was also worshiped in Greek ian culture. he was called Anpu as was identified with Hermes. he was originally the forth son of Ra but was later put into the osiris family. he had a daughter who was called Kebehut the goddess of freshess. and because of his identification with hermes he was later known as Hermanubis...
sorry about that... but i like to keep people interested by giving people unuseual information at i know about the gods...

The_Vampire_QueenI remember studying the Egyptian Gods in my Ancient History class last year. I'm actually quite fascinated with that culture and this is a marvelous, not to mention vibrant and colorful, depiction of Anubis. Your artwork is amazing.

jiraYou're right about the all wise Thoth being around, writing down the name of all the souls...

Black_BreezeHow interesting. I like how you drew the feather of maat against the human heart. That is so interesting, ususally people depict the feather as. . . Well, a feather! I love this picture, but didn't Tloth also part of the Weighing of Hearts ceremony with Anubis? *fav*

jiraThank you for the info, I think I came across the Manga comic of "Ragnarok"... Though I enjoy the artwork, nothing compares to the diverse written literature of World Myths! Thank you for your comments...
