Oh wow, I love this a great deal. Anubis is my favourite Egyptian god.
Have you ever seen Freakazoid? They had a short on this episode of a market called "Anubis Markets". Part of it was, "Look for the sign with the jackle-headed man." ^__^

well....anubis has the head of the jackel, and the egyptians believed that they hung around graveyards (which is true becuase they're scavangers) they very i belive from grey to black, and might possibly be brown. i think the washed out grey is a kind of representation of the fact that they were the eaters of the dead...kind ghost deamons of their time. you know what i mean?
