This was made only a few days ago. I''d been putting off working on a serious Inuyasha fanart because I was worried about how to draw the old style Japanese clothing, especially Sesshomaru''s outfit. Luckily I had an Inuyasha artbook that had almost all the reference material I needed, so I finally took a shot at it.

hmhm. Woooow..I love your style so much. It's very unique and you have great colouring skills. Sesshomaru particularly looks awesome.

Oh dang! Your art syle is amazing... I really like the lighting in this pic, it looks very nightish rather than just dark.
I also like your sue of layered value.
I like how even though there are so many things going on in the pic, Inuyasha still catches the eye the most.

Thank you! It took me a very long time to learn how to make something look night-shaded, rather than just really dark and muddy. I used two strong diagonal shapes, the sword and the boomerang, to lead the eye towards Inuyasha, plus his super-red costume helped. I also used overlay and soft-lighting filters to help separate the cool colored background and the warm-toned foreground elements.

I tried making Sesshomaru a little more manly in this drawing. He's usually very glam and pretty, which doesn't quite match the fact that he's a walking killing machine. Well, maybe in anime it makes sense.
