Space Kid

This was the original drawing for a character I named Ira Madden (pun name off of Iron Maiden, one of my favorite bands). This character appears again in my Three Princesses picture, along with her friend Megan Deth (Megadeth) who's also in the Deth Clan drawing. I'll probably be toying around with the basic premise and design of these characters for a while. This first drawing was directly inspired by 80s style anime, particularly a great show called Mighty Orbots, which I bought a bootleg DVD set of at a comic convention recently.
