I think it's a real good piece of work and I never draw people the same either. I think it's nice to draw and be happy with your interpetation.

Oh my! My firt reaction when I saw it (and my sis can confirm it as she was standing next to me) was; 'Oh yeah, oh yeah!'
Absolutely brilliant. This is the closest I´ve ever seen him drawn as I see him in my head!
This is so MAT! He is without a doubt my favorite character in the whole series, but then I tend to be drawn to the mischivious rebels ::grin::
I espacially like the expressive way you´ve drawn his hand throwing the dices, and the play of light on the blade, and that oh so mocking smirk...

holy crap that is awesome!!! Mat was always my favorite.. er.. I think -- its been at least five years since i read the wheel of time.. none the less this is really really good! The coloring and pose are so perfect! There needs to be more wheel of time art on this site..
