Chapter 1 - Untitled
A Lover's Ghost
Your voice still haunts me
In the darkened hall
Your face is in the mirror
But I know you are gone
Your essence lingers
in the air
Your footsteps echo
Yet your not there
I lose myself
In your golden eyes
Which fade away
with morning light.
You shimmer beneath a timeless tree
The place our paths first crossed
But every time I reach for you
From my sight you are lost.
I see you in my weary thoughts
I see you in my dreams
I see you everywhere, and in everything
.....Or so it seems.
