thank you! i'm very, very flattered. of course i don't mind at all. i do have aim and would love to chat some time. my s/n is 'froofy hair' lol. but i can't go on very often because i have some sort of weird popup blocker that i don't know how to disable (even my friend, voted biggest computer geek in the yearbook couldn't get it to work, or my step dad who is a computer engineer), so i got a program called 'trillian' that has a bunch of different im's combined into one. the only problem is that my trillian connectionn fails when i take my laptop to my dad's house, which is where i am currently. sorry. but i am on occasionally while i'm at my mom's. :)froofy_hair on August 13, 2006, 3:28:50 AM

well, i've been trying to draw for like...*counts* almost seven years ^__^ you should see the stuff from when i was eight. it's hilarious. i still have sketch books from when i was that old. the reason i ever started drawing in the first place is because i was mad at my friend (who was a year and a half older than me) for saying i was 'pretty good for my age. i worked hard ever since then. now she moved away, and a few weeks ago her old house blew up. o.O seriously. some drunk guy drove into the living room and hit a gas line or something...*cough* but i digress....froofy_hair on August 13, 2006, 3:16:29 AM

#^__^# 'inspired'...you're giving me a big head *blushes* honestly, though, when i look back at some of the things i put up only 3 months ago, i just want to shake my head. at least i know i'm improving, though. the coloring thing is something i just recently picked up. i had never really colored a single drawing (ever, i swear) until about four or five months ago. i was really bad at it so i just never tried up until then. i didn't really understand the concept of shading...until i was just randomly looking at fanart online...and suddenly it hit me. now i color.
your coloring is much, much, much better than mine was a couple of months ago. work at it for just a little while and it's amazing how much you can improve.
what i'm envious of is the incredible detail in your art. that's one of the things i struggle with most. i'm just not creative.

Wow u must be really popular and a long time memeber here! I had difficulty in scrolling ^^ ahehehif u must know that was oil pastels its messy i know but ur pics r perfect the way it is! since its so perfectly detailed ull have a hard time coloring most of it in ^^ i tried once but ended up in disaster!
Oh by the ay use some oil to smudge it usa a cotton bud it'll be a lot easier ^^

Glad you like my Mermaid Oasis. That was such a pain in the butt to color and never mind drawing the individual scales coloring was a pain. AND you do not suck at drawin'. Yours are infact very very very good.Better than I on a good day. Actually..::yawns:: I draw better at 4 in the morning. Hehehe...keep up the fantasic work.
