But all I can think is, "Of course they think I'm a good drawer,they suck;no affense." ok well you can creat new layers all the time (like magic lol) just make sure you open your page as transparent not white. but everytime you want to colour a new peice of clothing or hair or skin. you do it on a different layer. you can use the paint bucket to colour or the paint brush. and for shading there are 2 tools i like to use call the burn tool and the dodge tool. burn darkens and dodge lightens and you can change the intensity and brush shape so it's not too bad. some artists don't like to use it though. when doing hair use these tools to highlight areas and darken others and then use the smudge tool. thats i think they make the hair look like hair.i have some tutorials from friends i'll send you the link in a sec ok?

ok well to get the best out of your colouring you really need a graphics tablet but they can be expensive. but if you have a steady hand with the mouse thats fineyou would need to scan line arts on to your comp (i'm sure you already know this) do you know about layers on photoshop? they are the key

and my last tip is keep playing on it and you will learn new things and progress. and even if your pics look bad at first (not saying they will) keep trying they can only get better with practice ^^
