I'm arachnophobic, too... but I also enjoy watching spiders. They scare the hell outta me, yet I find them fascinating. Weird, eh?

There was a really fat spider on the outside of my kitchen window of one of my old homes. Sometimes I'd stand there at night and watch it wrap up the bugs it caught. Every so often I'd see it eating, too. Never figured out what type of spider it was, though.

But if there's one spider I simply HATE, and would like to eliminate from the world altogether, it's the Brown Recluse. I've heard what those things can do to your skin... *shudders* My sister was bitten by one a while back... it freaks me out to imagine what would've happened if she'd waited longer to go to a hospital. lol

OMG, I love thunderstorms... *_* I'm terrified of tornadoes, though. But my apartment has fairly deep brick walls, so I don't worry about them much anymore.

Sucks when the power goes off, though. It was off for 4+ hours a year or two ago, in one of my old homes...

But I still love storms. lol
