I hate to say it, but I have made the inevitable jump over to DeviantART. I will still update here, but quite frankly ... no one on this site cares about art anymore; they just consider it a more private version of myspace, a place to chat with their friends. All the artists I liked have moved on, something that started when the site ceased to be pretty and blue. Quite simply, I feel like the site isn't what it once was. I'll come back when the members of fac start caring more about art and less about their own popularity.

So I've really outdone myself with the detail on that picture of August. Seriously. And of course, when scanned most of it probably won't even show up. I've got minute cracks in the walls, tiny little spirals branching off of the vines, WOOD DETAILING FOR GOD'S SAKE. I DREW THE LINES IN THE WOOD FLOOR.
And then, in a desperate need for more to draw in it, I made the walls look plastered by drawing the lines that the mortar spreader makes... Hard to explain, but yeah. Anyway. And when/if I colour it the detail won't show up either. Blehh. But I love it! My friend Hillary pretended to make out with it in Future Focus. xDD Speaking of Future Focus, today Hillary, Chris, Will, and Jordan and I did nothing the entire class. We're stupid. Then again we weren't doing anything to begin with, just going over each other's essays. I read Will's and Hill's and then decided I was bored, and we talked about the most idiotic things we could think up. It's greaaaat fun. That's, like, my favourite class, if only because of the people in it.
Anyway... I haven't drawn my St Pat's pic yet, because I'm lazy and I've been finishing up my August pic. Plus my English teacher told my group in our Holocaust unit that I can draw, and they jumped on that knowledge and are having me draw a ton of stuff by Friday... And on top of that, I have two poems to write. For the same class. Blehhh. This sucks. I might actually have to do homework for once.

Yeah, I just used the microwave to heat up the milk. A minute on high, then stir, and then 30 seconds. Another 30 if I want it hot. It's practically down to an art. Then three squirts of honey and three shakes of cinnamon... It's also good with a quarter teaspoon of almond and vanilla extract each. Yep. But you definitely want to be careful with the almond, because it really permeates. A little tiny bit of nutmeg and ground cloves is good too.
I had a little too much fun experimenting.

... I feel mildly insulted by that quote, and yet I find it ridiculously funny anyway. xDDDD
Hmmm... Um, here, I'll just post a ton of A-names. Because I can:
Aaron, Abby, Abbott, Abigail, Abraham, Acacia, Ace, Acton, Adam, Adela, Adelaide, Adolf (that would make me laugh), Adonis, Adrian, Aelwen (it sounds cool), Agnes, Ahmed, Aidan, Andrea, Akiva, Alanna, Alec, Alex, Aletta, Alexander/Alexandria, Alexei, Alphonse, Algernon, Amanda, Amber, Amarenta, Amelia, Amelie, Anna, Anne, Anastasia, Andrew, Anya, Annabelle, Antoinette, Archer, Ardelis, Armani, Artemis, Arthur, Arva, Arya, Ashton, Aspen, Aston (like my car! :'D), Aubrey, Auburn, Audrey, Aurora, Austin, Avian, Aweta, Azalia, and Azure.
Wow that's a lot of names. o.o
Um. Yeah. I hope that helps though. xD;
Haha! I just looked up the names of my characters. It's great fun.
Guinevere (since Guenevere doesn't exist): White ghost, phantom
Gwen: Fair, white, blessed
August: Great
Beatrix: Bringer of joy
Neehee. I love how accurate Gwen's are. xDD
I have a funny mental image of August eating a raw onion.
I have a field trip on Thursday for Japanese. We're going to the Japanese Garden, then to a sushi restaurant for lunch. Kickass.
Yesterday got all muddy because I scouted for four-leaf clovers for an hour. And I didn't find a single one. >:(
THIS WEEKEND IS ST PATRICK'S :DDDDDDD I love that holiday. I'm going to draw August in celebration, drunk and/or drinking. In Irish garb. And Gwen too. I think Gwen will be wearing lipstick, and the people around her will have kissmarks on their cheeks and/or lips. xDDD And since I will most likely colour it, my green Prismas will get quite a workout.
I had far too much fun drawing August propped up on his elbows only in jeans... Although you can sort of see the hem of his boxers underneath. And of course, I went crazy with detail on pretty much everything, because I love detail. I used to hate drawing detail, on clothes especially, but now I loooove it. And I haven't decided whether he should be outside on a deck or something, or if he's going to be inside and the vines interlacing on the stripes on the walls are just intricate wallpaper. xDD I kind of a lot messed up the perspectives, though. I hate perspective. But yeah.
Anyway.

Heheh. Nicholas has decided it's his personal goal to irritate me tonight, and he's doing a pretty good job of it. And I'm going to kick his @$$ later. C: And he's also reading this over my shoulder. I'm going to have to burn my earrings later because he's using thm innapropriately.
August squeaking is adorable. xDD August anything is adorable.

haha! i could totally imagine august giggling uncontrollably. xDDD and i would have done the same thing with the spider. except i wouldn't have screamed softly, i would have screamed loudly. x_x
he sort of looked like felton... but cuter. so, more how i imagine him, but still a bit felton-ish. but it was weird, because we weren't, like, talking or anything, i was just perched on the counter while he took a shower. he was pretty hot when he took a shower, though. :D
i like daylight savings if only because it stays light so much later.

Okay, this is weird. You? Not on in, like, two days?
Today was pretty much the best day of school ever. Firstly my friend Jessica and I just hung out until after the bell in the commons, then ran to the Japanese classroom to be checked in for the field trip, then we ran to the busses and they drove us to the Japanese Garden and we had this big thing there. And Jessica, Abby and I all were freezing because it was really cold, but we made jokes about everything anyway. Then finally at 12 30 we all got back on the busses and drove to the sushi restaurant where they had reserved these big rooms just for us-- and it was, like, real too, which was super-dee-duper awesome. So we've got the real sliding doors, tatami mats, little tables where you stick your feet into the big hollow under them, it was great. And the food was awesome. xDD But we think that they drugged ours since on the entire busride home Jessica and I couldn't stop giggling. We would make absolutely awful vulgar jokes and then collapse on each other giggling. It was so funny. Then in the restaurant we made so many jokes about everything that we had the entire table in hysterics. It was awesome.
And now I have homework for English. Greeeeaaaaat. Just what I wanted!
