Well, I-among many other people-call them pixels. 'Cuz when you make them you have to do them pixel by pixel (dot by dot) on mspaint.You can find a lot of cute things people make on paint on sites like kao-ani.com, fianakiara.de, petal-tea.net...just to name a few.
