Hello, welcome, I hope you enjoy my work.
These days I am a college graduate who is working. I hope to improve my art, maybe I'll post some of it here!

You know I love your work...
Try not to listen so much to your father.. even though they say they're older and wiser, go with your instinct, how you feel and pretty much create your art through basic emotion. That's what I don't like about requests. They're forced inspiration which doesn't work. I mean some excellent artists with thier head screwed on can imitate the feeling but if you ever get a bout of real, strong emotion and draw as much as you feel right afterwards, by gum, you'd make a wall-worthy piece. As long as you focus on the emotion, in contrast to the painting/image, you should secrete some truly powerful cause. You've probably done it before.. when you're angry or happy. Ever punched a sofa when you're mad? Ever tore a poster off of your wall through sheer anger at something you later feel is a stupid cause? Ever think about how the sofa/poster would have looked if you set that emotion raw, free and dispersed? Without fear and without thought? It would be a mess. That is what I call art. The sum of emotion. The living, embodiment of one's emotion of a particular stage of life. That's also why I love tattoos of loved ones and such and why I'd never get one removed of an old lover's name, etc. It would remind me of a time and emotion where I was happy enough to get thier memory placed on my shell forever. That's what I believe people should focus on. That energy be it positive or negative.
Things of physical beauty are made by things of spiritual and emotional beauty. Though they may not look so pretty, they are beautiful. This is truly what I see in your work and it's what I wish to see in more of your work and other's too..
Sorry for the long rant -_-;

well thanks a lot for all the comment, and contructive critism. I'd agree with most. But the stuff you were looking at was new to me at the time. So I wasn't getting too original at that point.
Anyway, sorry I haven't posted my entry to your contest yet. I'll get to it eventually. I'm kinda buried in a bunch of art trades, and another big contest.
Long story short the comments were much appreciated, so thanks a bunch.
