My day is ok, I got home from school about 2 hours ago, and someone was looking at my house, cause were trying to sell it but they seemed really interested, so they might end up buying it

Lol, yea, I've had photoshop for forever and a half. XD

But yeah! I can tell you how to do the lens flare.

When you open up Photoshop, you look at the menu buttons at the top and you click on the one that says, "Filter".
Once the menu drops down, find a button that says, "Render"
Click on that, then you should find one more button that says, "Lens Flare"
Then you should have a window pop up and you'll have a preview of your picture. You should see something glowing if the picture is light colored. If you can't see it, then there should be a little "+" to help show where it is. Then you can make it as bright as you want, and you can move it around. Once you're happy with where it is, Ta-dah! You're done! ^_^
Lol, if you need anything else, just ask. I've learned a quite a bit about the effects on Photoshop. ^.^
