"Up." Dez said to the soldier darkly. "I would say its a hell load more than a harmless joke if the mans attemptin' to kill you over it. Apologize to the man, then you are on grunt work, complain and I'll take your tongue. And no one will save your @$$ from me, understand?" 

"Y-yes sir" Lina said quickly.
Dez  took several steps forward, his hands raised slightly. "Just let me know what the man did and I'll see he receives a suitable punishment."
"What the... Lina?" Rust mumbled.

(Wah, sorry, didn't notice it didn't post D:)
"Wah! Brother Kenu!" Lina yelped, as she struggled to get off the saddle.
"The hells?" Dez said, turning around. He jogged over, "What is going on here?!" he yelled.

(Ha! I enjoy it :) 
"H-huh? Excuse me?" Lina said, attempting to keep her voice level. Her pale cheeks flushed and she shrunk down in the saddle.
"Hm?" Rust said half turning towards the commotion.
(You give something fun and I give a bad post D:)

Carefully Lina stepped on Kenu's hands, she then pulled herself up and slipped into the saddle. "Thank you." she said.

Lina nodded again. “Yeah… That sounds nice.” She said with a small smile.
(Brain no workie D:)

Lina nodded slowly and looked up a little. "Yes you do." she mumbled.
“Hm? Yeah, Parh is nearby and the inn isn’t too bad.” Rust said, “It isn’t too far, we would reach it well before nightfall.”

Lina wilted slightly as Kenu glared at her. She stared at her shoe and scuffed it along the ground.
The soldier didn’t react to Kenu glaring at him; he gave Kenu a friendly nod and walked back to his post. “You three are all good, feel free to pass whenever you want. Good seeing you again Rust.”
“You too Dez.” Rust said, patting the soldier’s back as he passed. 

(Aw, poor Lina, just trying to keep the soldier from doing a complete search) 

The soldier arched an eyebrow, "I have to check sir, it is my job."
Lina stabbed a finger into Kenu's side, hard. "It's ok sir, we understand. My brother just hates it when people assume he's breaking the law." She said with a smile. The soldier looked over at Rust, and Rust shrugged. With a sigh the soldier opened the largest pack and quickly looked over the contents, he quickly checked two others before nodding and stepping back. 
"Alright, everything checks out." He said.
