If you need help doing an animation I just got started and already have 4 but their too big to use on the site. Anyways I use Micromedia Fireworks 8 and its a really good animation program but it takes alot of work to load but if you need more info write to me in my profile cause Ill probably delete you if you ask me by email.

ty for your comments on my animations.
Here's a few tips (you asked for them):
1. Get a good, easy gif making program. (really easy to find a freeware one)
2. Learn how to use it.
3. I usually draw my animations on regular, 8x11 printer paper with pen or pencil, scan them in, and then use paint with copy & paste.
4. be sure that all the pictures you put into your animation are the same size, and that your main model moves smoothly, or, if it's standing still, make sure that the different motion pictures are put into approximately the same place.
5. Be creative and have fun. I really just started doing it for fun. I didn't really get it at first either.
6. Another fun thing to do is to position your webcam next to an action figure or stuffed animal and make it do weird stuff with still pictures.
