Hmm... I don't know about that paint thingy =o
But with photoshop i usually draw, scan then add effects to it or look at how to make backgrounds on the internet or you can be lazy and just pick a background on google =o
Like your pic, just open it make a layer under it and copy what you want for the background on the layer under your image
1 - [Image]
2 - [New Layer]
[Image]
3 - copy the background image and paste it in the new layer
[New layer + background image]
[Image]
4 - [Background image]
[Image] Move Background layer under so the image appears
[Background]
5 - [Image] =D
Upper layer
[Background] [~~~~]
Lower Layer
Examples: Your image is a =D and the Background is a [~~~~]
Image (=D) + Backg. ([~~~~]) = [~=D~]
The image must be over the background to get it right [~=D~]
If the background is over the image it will cover it [~~~~]
