Well... I haven't used that feature before, I always use the pen tool on Illustrator, I do the lines from scratch... but If you just go to the Brushes window, there should be a lot of different widths. The Stroke thing next to the gradient, underneath the brushes, determines the width for the pen tool, I don't know if its the same for what you're using, Sorry! ^^

Just remember where you saved it, and copy it into fonts folder. With XP, Go to Control Panel, Appearance and Themes, and there should be a folder near the top left hand side saying "Fonts".
Click into it, then go to File- Install New Font...
Browse for the file you saved it in (You may need to unzip it first) and select it. Make sure the boxx Copy fonts to Fonts folder is ticked. Then just click OK.
