hehe lo spreading the horizon of anime watching i see. :) I dont really like fruits basket, ish boring for me although it was funny at times. I've only watched eppy 1 in japanese

My experience with Dubbed versions is bad. I kinda cling to japanese ones, they are always better and more original. Like in one piece being called a "fiend" is not very threatening. whereas being called a bastart, you kinda get the point that the person calling you that is MAYBE mad atcha.
After that speech, dont let my view stop you. You can watch teh fruit basket. It matters whether you like it not meh. hey you might have found an anime other than OP and pokemon to watch (Im an OP fan/freak person. ^^) oh and pokemon too but that seems kinda tame to me at the moment.
