It was that way with me and writing. I used to try to write all the details in while I was still getting ideas. So I would get tripped up and forget half of my ideas. But lately, I blaze through and get everything down, then go back and fill in the details on the re-read.

Preparation is always good. You DO have to know where preparation becomes real paranoia, but there's a thick line between the two, and I doubt you've crossed it.

That's a good trait to have. I usually start a project all gung-ho about getting things 100% correct, but my confidence and willpower lack in the home stretch ^^'

It makes sense to me :) But Kimihiro and Shana-sempai's conversations would look better illustrated illustrated properly, lol.

I know what you mean! I'm the same way. One person told me not to worry though: 'Even paranoids have real enemies'. Being a worrier isn't so bad- it just means you're prepared for a lot of different enventualities.

There's no rush :) Draw when you're comfortable. Your RQ's are easily worth waiting for.

I've been trying to draw to help me study for Japanese class. The dialogue is okay, and my characters are fine...they just don't look good as anything but sketches.

No problem :) I have a hard time looking at my old work, though, for some reason. I think it's because it's always worse than I remember it XD

I wish I had some advice for you, besides 'drink decaf tea' or 'relax in the tub/shower before you go to sleep'. That usually works for me, but not recently, for some reason.
