I've tried a little poetry, but it's not my thing so much. It doesn't come naturally to me enough, I guess.

By the way, new book series! Well, two of them. I FINALLY tried Full Metal Alchemest, which is very good. But the two newer ones are Mushishi and the manga version of Higurashi: When They Cry'. Really good stuff!

Well then, you're doing it right if it feels good to you :) As for self confidence and all that...I'm still having trouble with that myself. Others my age are accomplishing so much more than me, it's kind of disheartening.
But as for you, you've got undeniable talent. A friend of mine with drawing talent actually just got a contract to draw a manga for some French magazine. I could really see you doing that!
I think you just need one huge success, and then your confidence problem will be solved. (I think the same way about my situation, so I'm not just blowing smoke, lol!)

I usually won't join a site if I don't agree with their rules to begin with. But some things change. FAC just outlawed RP in profiles, which is something I don't agree with. I don't see where it hurts, as long as you don't make the comments explicit. But anyway, they supposedly changed that rule, thankfully^^
Is Emi-chan having any luck on fanfiction?

My parents had to tailor what they say to my personality. They know I can go from 'obsessed' to 'disgusted' in nothing flat when it comes to careers, so they kind of pick and choose where to lay the compliments on, and where to pull back and say 'are you sure?'
You know, I think you'd be a great counselor or therapist. You have that patient way about you, along with a genuine personality and a heart of gold :)

Medicine is evil. I'll usually sit there and suffer before I'll take medicine. Although I've found that chewable aspirin isn't so bad. It's low-dose, so it just takes the edge off a headache, and it doesn't make you drowsy.
But I can't swallow pills! I hate that! Do you have that problem too? (You don't have to say if it's personal; please don't feel pressured to answer!)

I'm doing okay, I guess. Just very stressed right now. Work has gotten better, but now I'm worried about my Dad. He's had some heart problems, so that's pretty nerve wracking for all of us.

I read too fast for my own good. That's why I've always got to have tons of books on hand. I try to take it slow, but sometimes I get sucked into the story, and that's that, lol!

Nah, it's not weird. It's healthy to be close to your family like that. Wanting to do stuff for them is a really good thing. If it makes you happy, and it makes them happy, then it's win-win. But you've got it- don't neglect fun. Work gets old really fast without some kind of fun.

Nah, it's not weird. It's happened to me. I wish the heck I could find that drawing I did a while ago. That sketch of Ryouko I mentioned. I don't know where the heck it went! I drew a comic of him at the beach with a couple of the kunoichi, which was fun because of his expression.

Fanfiction is a hard site. They've got a lot of regulations, and the people there can be just plain brutal. But there are a lot of honest critiques, too.

Yup, it all comes down to your choice. I had that same thought process once, but my Mom told me 'it's your life, you've got to live it for you. All I want is for you to be a good person.' So that's what I do.
Sadly enough, college is also pretty necessary to get any kind of work. But it can be fun if you go about it the right way.

That, and she's cute ^^' But being that loyal to someone is just so cool, 'cause it's so rare in rl. That, and her and Hitsugaya's word wars make me laugh.

I'm not much of a pudding person, but that's only because my Mom tried putting medicine in it once when I was little to get me to take it. Yuck! lol.
