Like I said, I'm not sure we were ever a couple. It wasn't so much her religion as how fervent she was, and how insistent her parents were about me joining it. Her parents are absolute fantaics. She was cool with me, as long as I didn't question hers, she wouldn't question mine. We both try to avoid doing bad things, and we both pray (albeit slightly differently). But her parents just kept pressuring me and my family to join that church.

That feeling is perfectly normal. And, honestly, it's not wrong or bad to feel it. Finding someone you like, that you connect with- it's a great feeling, and nothing to feel guilty or shameful about.I would even try to get the courage up to talk to the guy.

Parents can be over-protective. Just means they love you. But, it's still your life, you've got to live it how you see fit (within reason, lol). My parents were worried about me hanging out with the wrong crowd twice. Once, they were right, the other time, they misjudged the kids. It's good they care, though.

oh yes they are totally original characters. i dont use other people's ideas unless they give it to me specifically to improve me and my story.

Her name is Amber. Very nice girl, and I will admit good looking. ironically, though I'm somewhat religious myself, it's her religion that made me think "Uh oh- not good". I'm devout with my faith, but her faith was too extreme to consider a relationship. (Forgive me if I don't mention her exact religion of choice.)

As for a crush...well, I got over mine by (as rotten as this sounds) finding something I didn't like about that person. I don't reccommend that, though. Time will heal the crush. And, everything you said- it's perfectly normal, and definetly okay to feel.

And parents...well, I don't know. I've never had a problem with mine, really. I worry them, though, but that goes with being my age, lol.
