"I know it's hard, know its hard,
to remember sometimes,
But you gotta keep your head up, oh oh!
And you can let your hair down, eh!"

Been trying to sing this for almost a whole decade. Still can't. FAIL. Doesn't change the fact that I love this song.

I know, really. I haven't had such a destructive animal before (Mostly docile cats and older dogs), so having this terror of a puppy has been somewhat new to me, lol. My last one was a terror, but only because she was impossible to potty train!
I tried to get my parents to watch some of the tamer anime with me. My Mom HATED Rurouni Kenshin because of the way Kenshin spoke (I, of course, imitated him for about two weeks XD). My Dad walked away rolling his eyes after 30 seconds of Bleach. I guess it's an aquired taste or something?
The weird thing is I didn't even realize I was doing something like that until quite a while after I started XD Then I started doing other stuff on purpose, to see if a couple of my buddies could guess what I was doing. So far I've done Aizen (Bleach), Itachi (Naruto), and quite a few others. lol.
You've got it nailed. Having someone waiting for you when you come home; even coming scampering to meet you- it's just an awesome feeling.
Having the ability to look on the bright side is definitely an asset. I have a hard time with that.
The music is impressive in it. Try some of the Shakugan no Shana music. That's more of an intense, actiony sound, but it has the same kind of quality.
