I love finding anyone who can bear listening to me going on about it. Thanks for the comments btw!

You know their current colors of course, Sonic and Amy green and Tails turquoise.
Sonic had a rather dull brown tinge to his eyes in early official art, but other early posters and such portrayed him with much more obvious irises, and they were grayish-blue. Tails had deep blue eyes in most art, but in some wallpapers they were brown. Amy switched between a warm henna-ish brown and violet blue.

About what you said on "Happy 15th": That's exactly what I thought too! I have a half-finished pic for the "Summer of Sonic" project on that very subject. ^^
