when it's start you're on the center,right? Try take cover under the brige at the coner and aim around to find the sniper and move yourself around to avoid being shoot.(jumb around too also help you^^)
Other way to find them is look that where the shoot come from.Try use Hydra or nomal handgun with long barral(is it call like that?)
and the part that you have to protect the boy,you have to follow him,not too close so you can shoot the dogs that try to attack the kid.He will guide you along the roof-top to get the keycard.you will have enemies attacking you along the way.
