Well, I can't find anything (ANYTHING!) wrong with your account settings on the forum side, so for now I'm wondering if the problem is related specifically to the computer you're accessing our site from.

For example, are you able to log in to the forums from a different computer somewhere else? (Minding that if it's a public computer you'll need to log out again)

I am curious as to what determines whether a picture can become a featured picture or a popular work. If that can be answered, that is.

"Featured" pics are selected by site staff based on requests by the userbase (forum thread here).

"Popular" pics are selected automatically by # faves/votes.

What do you mean by 'features'? Do you mean submissions that we feature on the frontpage, or requests for new features/tools on the site?

Hey quick question. Why did you make FAC only accept only 3 pics a day? just asking

The 3-per-day limit has been in place for over five years; if I recall correctly it was to encourage artists to be their own quality control. It is occasionally annoying for new users or anyone else with a backlog of content to submit, but on average, it works out well enough.
