Well, my dad put the beetle in the tokay's side of the tank over three days ago. I figured if the tokay didn't eat it, it would eventually starve out.

However, the beetle has been hiding inside the branch I broke for my tokay to climb on.

And today, I just finally snapped. I opened the tank and shook the branch, and that fast @$$ beetle came running out.

Now, I have this metal prod I can extend, right? Like an antenna on a stereo, the one I use to fish the crickets out of the waterbowls

I used the rounded end to try to smash the beetle--but it was so fast! So, after about five or six minutes of trying to smash it, I got a great idea.

I used my etching stencil-thing, while I finally had the beetle pinned beneath the prod, I impaled it through its wings and abdomen. Then I made it suffer the same fate as the crickets: The waterbowl trap.

And fawk, tokay was being a good boy and just staring the whole time, not really giving a flyin' fawk.

I guessed. 8sighs*

Yup... It's too hard to explain.

Just the ones that are asserting disingenuously.

Also, I just had the most epic battle with a beetle that lasted, like, over 10 minutes.

~His girlfriend was more heart broken than me. Had to comfort her.

I know, but I lost a friend once... Not joking at all.

Trying to knock sense into him. Not working. -3-
