well, you dont use photoshop to colour your pictures do you? coz if you dont, you can just scan them in, resize them and then transfer. I'll tell you how to resize in photoshop anyway, it might help ^^
after your pic has been scanned in or after you have finished colouring it, cilck "FILE" then on the "AUTOMATE" drop down menu, click "FIT IMAGE" a box will appear onscreen giving you options to choose what width and length you want the pic to be.
mine are usasually 1000 wide X 500 long (tall) for landscape and 500 wide X 1000 tall for portrait.
then go to "FILE"
"SAVE FOR WEB"
before you save it this should give you a preview of what size it will appear on here.
is that ok?

well, i use Photoshop, but i think you can do it with mspaint too. do you have photoshop?
