Yup, Japan's the place to be, but not only for manga. All their other industries are doing very well. That country is going to be pretty big later on, I think. :)

oh... and to answer your other question. Me and that dude aren't doing a story. It was an idea he had. But he really hasn't pushed to make a story, and he hasn't been around much so....yeah who knows. We did do some collaborative works under a new account though. Called ironzaku.

Well I would say make a contest about tentacles. But you wouldn't get any female entries. Damn... well here's the deal. Come up with a contest idea, then I'll write up the rules for the contest, and let you view them, and change what you feel needs to be changed. Then you can post it.

hmmmmmmm.. well there aren't any super cool tricks I know that I can teach. I'm still learning myself actually.

A few things that help are having a pretty nice computer and the best version of whatever program you like that you can get (either by piracy or honesty ^_^)

Just practicing with the program and the tools is the key thing. I've done 100s of CG pics. That's the reason why that H pic of Cara turned out so well ^__^


I don't really have a problem w/ you drawing a pic of her, but it depends on how you did it (hardcore, softcore, not Hentai at all, etc). I'd prefer it softcore or not even Hentai (just a really sexy pic of her would be the coolest for now).

Zakuman wants to do some H pics of other girls too ^_^

Oh yeah (really sorry for posting so damn much in your profile here) but uh, yeah beating the yaoi on this site is a fight we can't win. Sadly most people think yuri is the only way to fight yaoi. But why can't normal straight hentai be added in the fight against yaoi? Just curious is all.

A rating cap is when somebody says no submissions with adult content (the ratings being capped or restricted being R to NC17). A lot of contests have that. Even contests that shouldn't. Like every yuri contest I've seen hasn't allowed higher than an R rating. Anyway, maybe you could get creative with the contest too. I noticed some tenticle love in your gallery. I personally have never drawn tentacle love. So yeah that'd be interesting. But that'd probly only work for males entering the contest :(

oooh but dude in a contest you get a bounty of images. And your favorite entries win. And say you do a contest about your favorite girl... or original character. Then you get a bunch of images from us. I think it's more than an even trade. I mean yeah... you'll get a request or something. But it'll be from some deserving. And they may not give you a bunk request.

Trust me, I know aaaall about lame requests I get loads of them. But I think a contest is different. You could do a contest like I did. I had people draw hot furry girls. And the prize was I'd draw their girl if they won. That made deciding what to draw them easy. And I finished all the prizes in a week.

Anyway... you don't have to do it if you don't want to. But if you so decide to. A) I'd like to know about it...and B) Please don't make a rating cap (heh unless it's PG-13 or higher only). Ok well, I'll stop bothering you now. I just saw that entry was like.... damn I'd totally want to get something from this dude. Well I'll be off now.

Yes, she stole art before. Yes, she was caught. Yes, she admitted it. But she stopped doing it. All that art on her gallery now was her's and her's only. And not only did you ruin her self esteem, you ruined her reputation.

Anyways I have been seeing this war between the idiot Genkai (ah lemme say idiot if I wanna) Yes she did steal all those pictures from that one dude, I forget his name, but Some one just commented on the picture in her gallery that they were stollen, they attached a link to the origal, Genkai did feel bad and deleted all of them, that person did not only just flamed on her of the stolen picture, but they did reported her in. I still don't understand why she's here. She now just traces stuff now or whatnot, I don't care, just taking the ideas from other people without citing it. Sickening not to cite your refence. Hell, I use your stuff for refrence sometimes! About Genkai: We're already aware what she's done in the past, but we can only act on what can be proven. No one gets their account deleted on word-of-mouth, and unless we find proof of uncredited (aka stolen) art, we must take Genkai's word that she's working on doing her (completely) own art.

So if you suspect someone is stealing art, do a little research on the subject first. And whatever you do, DON'T tell them. As you already stated, if a thief takes a picture down, it can't be used as evidence.

I spotted a thief just last week (some other member). I was kinda suspicious when every pic of their gallery had a different artist name attached to it, and after about 30 minutes of searching, I found two of their pics as having been stolen from other sites. As much as I wanted to say something like "why is this picture avaiable on dA and who the heck is (original artist)", I chose not to, I just quietly filed a report for the FAC abuse team and let them take it from there. Said user who is not Genkai wound up banned from FAC for stealing.

Why are you still on Genkai's back? It's obvious that she did not steal the art, and if you haven't noticed, she has kept a consistant art style in each of her pictures.

Those comments were really unnessessary. What are you trying to do, ruin Genkai's name in FAC? She's not stealing pictures; she's learned her lesson. Do you have any proof? Solid proof? Even the pictures you complained about were drawn by her anyway. It wasn't as if she put a blank paper against a picture on a window and copied.

Since it looks like you're on art stealing patrol, why is it that you never notice the obvious ones? There's so many cases on here, that are VERY obvious, and I don't see you complaining at all. What is it about Genkai that makes you want to ruin her reputation? I wanted to be fair before, because you did have right to be angry. But now? This is absolutely ridiculous.

If you have a problem with her, send her an email. This is a problem between you and her. This does not have to be a whole internet debate. Have some dignity and don't start a trend on Genkai's pictures.

I had nearly forgotten about that comment I left. People have chosen weird usernames in the past, and yours is definitely one of them. (I'm pretty sure there's another member named "____" as well)

I didn't think you forgot about those pics, but I've been having internet troubles for quite awhile now. So I've only been able to access the internet on really random occasions (or mainly on the weekends).

you seem not to understand other forms of art no offense. your stuff is a bit over the top even for what it is you do although show great skill with the program you use and some of your stuff shows great skill like i love your backrounds you should try and do more realistic stuff though and be more acepting
your style does have an appeal of its ouwn though and it looks fairly good it would be nice to see a non-hentai yuri piece though

By the way, I like the fact that you are defending another artist's art. You seem like a good person.

For instance, I saw a picture that showed an artist's three OC's, which was actually a copied picture from the book, How To Draw Manga. And you know what I did? Nothing. I don't care. Artists over the years copied the Mona Lisa and were praised for it, and earned fame and money for it. As much as you don't want to admit it, everyone copies something. It just happens. And if you're doing this to Genkai, then you might as well do it to every person on this site who copied art from someone who is not well known.

I'm glad you have nothing against me, but I do feel sorry for you that you think people don't take drawing seriously. I do, and that's why I really don't like art thieves and flamers. They do not take art seriously.

Even though Genkai is my friend, I wasn't totally on her side. I told her on a comment I posted on my profile (gone now) that it was wrong for her to copy art that she claimed as her own, but it was right for her to delete it and start on a new slate.

Hi. You put a comment on my profile about my friend Genkai, and how she steals art? Well, I must admit I was troubled at first to see that, but when I saw the victimized artist's gallery, there was a clear extinction that she did not steal.

Although they look very similar, you can tell that they are very much different. The eyes Genkai draws are very much different from the artist you showed me, and to me, it seems that Genkai actually just looked at his pictures for guidence. Besides, the clothes she drew are different, and his art I may say is much more percise to the atonomy.

You're right. I don't like art thieves. In fact, I hate them. They are just no good people who don't have faith in their own talents. But Genkai isn't one of those people. You can say that she did fanart of his pictures, and really, that's a great honor for a talented artist like him. It means that she wants to be as good as him. Genkai is still developing her style of drawing; and I think it's coming along very nicely.

Now, I'm not going to tell you to apoligize, because it was obvious that you had the best intentions. But next time, before you accuse someone of stealing, try and anaylze the arts of the "stealer" and "owner", to see if there are any differences. That way, there will be no needed conflict.
