The manga is better in both cases, imho. Though the anime for Negima is very good. I wasn't a fan of the Love Hina one, though. Least of all Kitsune's voice acting.ailove.net
If you translate the page into english, some of it's pretty interesting. And you can apparently contact Akamatsu himself and get a response. I'm only on my first semester of Japanese, so I haven't yet.

Yeah, I've noticed that, a little bit. btw, which do you prefer generally? Anime or manga? (when it comes to Love Hina and Negima, I mean)A.I. Love you is great! It shows (along with Negima) that Akamatsu doesn't just write typical shonen stuff. He's actually really smart.
Say, have you ever checked out Akamatsu's website?

It was pointed out to me that Setsuna and Motoko use the same sword style. I hadn't noticed that before.Let's see... Motoko and Naru are the best looking. I get a kick out of Su and Kitsune personality-wise, though.

Love Hina was my second ever manga. Great series! lol, poor Keitaro. And yet, he has the best job in the world XD(Even if Naru DOES beat the crap out of him. Fair trade, I say!)

For me, it's Evangeline, Setsuna, Asuna, Konoka, Tatsumiya, and Zazie. Oh, and Makie. It's impossible to dislike her completely, lol.Negima probably has the best character design I've seen so far in manga.
