Hey i looked at Gerard number 3- i can't see why you don't like it, i thought it was really good. The expression scared me (in the good way lol) and i know people on this site would go mental on it! Plus if that one were on here, i'd be forced to fave it (to be honest, all of your work surpasses most work that i've faved on this site but on your gallery i have to be selective and pick my very favourites). Please submit it! We need more Gerard to breath!

a) I leave the squares the same size 1/2 I dont draw the squares
I use two grids the same sizes one on a transparency over the picture Im gonna draw and a plain piece of paper with the same grid printed to it
example http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g105/bootahs/MCR/Image113253223.jpg
b)a plain sketch pad, a pencil set, stumps & tortillions. 2 grids, white acrylic paint for eye detail, a kneeded eraser, a typewritter eraser, and a plain pencil eraser & toilet paper to blend with. Thats it! All under $30
Still using the 1 pencil set but there a little short..... they have lasted almost a year there just general pencils nothing special.

I haven't checked up on this site in about two years.. but I'm very glad to see that unlike most sites, the quality of the work hasn't gone down the drain. I'm really impressed by your work.. it's beautiful and realistic. Keep it up! ^^
Oh and congrads for having your art in the featured works.. that only ever happened to me once... lol

Yes I work as a tool and die maker in a factory for the last 19 years if our factory stays open till july I might get to see 20 thats kind of touch and go.....Haha I have a deviant art page to sell print and no Ive sold one only because it was a request of for a friend. Out of all the Villies drawings all were request for me to draw they lead me to believe once I drew them they would buy them and they didnt. This is why I dont take request anymore. Most just right click and save or just steal them and say they drew it.

haha a shop.. I work from 2:30 to 11 second shift I dont charge anything. I dont sell the originals I would like to get them signed by the artist or person I drew. The Black Parade cover went to a girl who is to get the Clockwork Gerard drawing signed shes got both of the originals and I know I was a fool to send them to her shes has had them since nov. told me shes gonna get it signed. I more or less have got it in my head that I will never see it again. And I have more then a month of work down the drain in both of them.

:( It's no wonder that you've decided to be careful about where you send your pictures now, with people being so dishonest. I think it's cool though that you intend to get your pics signed. How on earth are you going to do that, are you going to go to a meet n greet or a cd signing and bring them long?

Hi again, just wondering how much experience you had in art before you took up drawing in Lee Hammond's way. I'm curious because if you had good experience before, then it must have been easier for you to produce work of such high quality. I wonder if someone like me, a lowly student, could accomplish your kind of standard with just the help of a book. Do you need to be an experienced artist beforehand? Arrrrgh, why can't i automatically be as good as you!? Lol, Soph

With her book anyone can draw like this if you practice mind you this is like my 36th picture bout time I get it huh...... Drawings the easy part. The shading is the real key. As for prior experience I went to trade school to be a commercial artist (adds layouts for newspapers and magazines stuff like that) I always drew even as a child if you need any help I would be glad to answer question and help you in anyway I can.

Hey, i'm new to the site but i searched for what i like, what a surprise, you seem to like very similar things as me, from Bam to Gerard. Two of my most favourite things! I've been on your my space and i intend to buy that book that you recommended and get to drawing. Your work is undoubtedly incredible and has inspired me.
Just wanted to let you know that!
