Manga book: ok, this is something I may do when I’ve improved a LOT! I mean a lot, a.k.a being able to draw in different poses, boys and other objects

RumikoAkuraKonni, I had a look through your gallery like you asked. Right, here goes.
 
You've got the basics of manga nailed, and you've got quite a passion for drawing - that's obvious from the pictures you draw and by the fact you take on so many requests. I think you need to improve on your lines because they are quite uneven. When you draw faces and stuff, use the natural curve of your wrist to get the shape right (It took me a while to realise that, so don't worry.) For a 13 year old, your good. I'm 17 so that's 4 years more experience. If you keep at it you'll get there.
 
With your figures, the best way to improve on those is to pick up a clothing catalogue and draw the models and keep drawing them until you get it right. I find that if you turn a picture over and look through the reverse side, you'll notice what's wrong. I have a real problem with hands, so it really does help.
 
For your pictures in general, inking in helps, but you do need a steady hand. When you're drawing hair, feather it slightly and don't be afraid to draw it quickly. Also, if you invest in some good pencils like Caren Dache Prismalo's (expensive, but damn are they work it) that will help too. Watercolour pencils are normally the best because they look very smooth. That's about it I think. If you go to www.amazon.co.uk and type in 'How To Draw Manga' in the book search, you can find a really useful book called 'Getting Started'. All of that series are great, but make sure they're the books with the writing in red. You can also google 'How To Draw Manga' and it's the first link that comes up. In their tutorial section, it has the basics in there. I'll also be putting up a tutorial soon on how to get proportions right onfaces and stuff, so you can look at that too.
 
Sorry if I seem too harsh! I don't mean to be, but honest critique is worth so much more than someone just saying your pictures are great and being done with it. It's honestly the best way to learn. Ja ne
