Looking at your work, I can see you have talent you just need to enhance it. What kind of art classes are you taking in school? If you are truly serious to apply to art scholarships, make sure you take as many classes as possible with many different varieties. The cheetah picture you drew is very nice, just apply more shading to it (darker). Also, if you haven't started yet, make a portfolio. In it, you want a variety of different works showing off your talents. I also see you like anime. STAY AWAY FROM ANIME IN PORTFOLIOS. Art colleges will NOT take you seriously with anime. It is too commericalized; not your own. Keep to realism and lots of observation. Also, if you want to improve just draw things around you. Phones, people, animals, clothing, anything that catches your attention. The more you practice the better you will become.
