As he waves good-bye
A tear falls down his eye.
He blows a small kiss
To somebody he'll miss.
Why did it have to be this way?
Why couldn't she stay?

He will never forget
When they first met.
He wanted her to stay
Every single day.
Why did it have to be this way?
Why does she have to go away?

And as she looks back,
He is a deep hole, black.
He doesn't care
What grief does he wear?
The tears start to come
What have I become?

I wonder if he's sad
Does he know what he had?
My life was in his hands
Now it's in these bands.
More tears trickle out
I'll soon tell him what it's about.
