Dude, you have a scanner? Or a camera. Get the image on your computer 1st (duh!) And then when you sign in, there's a thing that says "Add Fanwork" Its at the top of the page. You then click "Add image or Flash something bla" and then select the category that you're pictures best fits into. So for exmaple if you had a picture of Yu Gi from Yu Gi Oh, you'd find it in Anime and so on. You then add a description and the image itself of course and then it should be up in a couple of days coz it has to be approved by the admins.

Ok heres a real good site to get your avitar from

Find the one you like then download it ...theres loads of jack skellington ones there just put him in the serch engine.
once youve found and downloaded your avitar go to edit profile..then choose avitar select the one you want from the files on your computer then go to the botton and press update and there you have it ...id stay away from the animated ones in my experiance they dont tend to work ^^
