If we're talking temporary, he'd do something really weird, like lime green, just to freak Astarael out. But he wouldn't do anything that lasted longer than a couple of days, because he likes it black.

I don't think Shruikan would be able to get contacts in without poking an eye out.
What does he think will happen to him in the future?
He's not much of a future person. Shruikan really lives in the present. He'd probably say something like, 'Being with Astarael, of course' but then, he is a wee bit obsessed.

Astarael. Though he would probably say that Astarael was crucial to his survival ... If that was the case, he would probably chuse a worthy fighting opponent for when he got bored.

Something that would offer a challenging fight, but evenly matched enough that he might have a chance of beating it alone. Maybe a gryffin?

Dragon. Demons really hate dragons. Or anything that is boring. Or overly full of itself.
If any, what wildlife does he like to observe?
Astaraels. In their natural habitat. Okay, that's just weird. I guess he might like birds of prey, loving all winged things as he does.
Favourite place he's travelled?
We already know his ideal environment, but he really doesn't care where he is as long as he either has Astarael with him, or meets up with a group of people like August who he can be stupid with. Probably someplace like Ireland, with cool bars, good alchohol, and friendly locals.

I think it's kind of funny how similar Lucifer is to Shruikan before he met Astarael. They both would sleep with anyone, regardless of gender, as long as they were hot; both would respect it if someone refused ... Shruikan wasn't really vain, though. He kind of thought of himself as trash. He was a drug addict, and the only part of his appearance he cared about was the wings. But they had the same social life.

Literature, probably. Maybe science. Elves don't really have school, because they are pretty much good at everything. Like the Eragon elves, they do whatever they want to, as long as they are doing something. (I think elves are socialist.) He really wished he was better at fighting, as long as he could remember.

Terrible! It's times like those that he really begins to think there is no hope for the human race.

He likes being en route to places. Walking along old, overgrown woods on foot. He often thinks that the journey is more pleasant than the destination.

Shadow likes tea the way I like it. No cream, no sugar. Though he wouldn't say no to some black coffee every now and then.

Anything that requires smarts. If logic was a class, that would probably be it. As it is, he likes science the best, probably. Math is too much memorising and not enough thinking, and I'm not sure he'd like english. He's like me and hates taking art classes, but I think he'd like history.

Poachers should find something better to do with their lives.

Would black be too emo? Yes, I think it would. He might try pale silver, like Ukitake's, or redhead. But he likes his hair colour ... no, it's more that he wouldn't feel like himself if he changed it. He would really rather just keep it the same ...

Red, or green, or blue, or purple, or orange, or ... he has grey eyes, so any colour, really. Something vibrant. But just to see what it's like. In the end, grey eyes suit him.
