Ph, I was the same when I moved into this state. I lived in NY when I was little, but we moves to tN and I felt so homesick for years, but you start to make new friends and you're all, The friends I have now are great, who needs to old ones? XDDD! Though you still remember the fun times you had with them. And you still miss them of course. Oh, and I don't know anyone that has Math A or something I sort of know a friend who has that, but i think that system is uber weird. Here, we actually call the math what it is.
