Konnichiwa Yumiko-chan. (chan wa ii ka?)
Thanks for the quick reply. I just extracted all four wisdoms today. (hao tong ahhhh....:-() So I'll be enjoying a week of my NS life at home.^^
Take care and looking forward to your future works.
Remember that to draw manga, you must be able to draw the basics of a proper, actual object. Needless to say you will also need to do some studies on clothes, weapons, action poses, etc.
Only when you've got these basic requirements will you be able to bring out the truly desired effects in your drawings.
P.S. Look for "Dorling-Kindersley" (DK) books, they provide one of the best infos about the subjects you wanna study. Recommended also are some of these artists in FAC: Kate, eterna2, beastofoblivion, Ammotu, fallenangel, etc.
Cheers,
Billy

Hi yumiko.
Thanks for the lovely comments on the kogal. Actually have another one but I've been too busy to scan it in.
Does Miri mean Malaysia? Coz that word doesn't seem familiar to any parts of S'pore that I know.
Besides, what's there to worry about NS? Not to be sexist but girls aren't required to serve. Lest of course you wish to sign on.
On the subject of slangs; No, I do not speak Manglish. Yes, I speak Singlish and rather proud of it. Though my dialects are bad, I've learnt quite a bit in NS.^^ "Wa lang si ho ah! Wa lang si pai ah! Wa lang si scorpion, scorpion pa buay toh ah!" ^^
Anyway, how's things in the UK?
Heard it's almost always foggy there. Especially in the city areas.
Take care and study hard ya? Hope to hear from you soon.
Yours sincerely,
LCP Billy Yong
