Sam: I swear I meant it when I said I'd never hurt you... whatever happened with that woman I had no control over it... SOMETHING happened... SOMETHING happened to make me forget all of that...

Sarah: ...you should try being a bit more careful, then... if she can get so close to you, then so can Blood Puppet...

Sam: *he nods slightly* I know... not that Blood Puppet's very inconspicuous... but I get what you mean... *he still feels terrible for what happened* ... I'll sleep on the couch... if you want me to sleep on the couch...

Sarah: *quickly shakes her head* No, it's okay... it wasn't your fault.

Sam:... I-I dunno, I thought you'd be more mad at me for this... um... but okay, I guess I won't sleep on the couch then...

Sarah: I'm trying NOT to be mad about this... don't make me change my mind. :/

Sam: *shuffling his feet* Right, sorry... let's go to bed, I guess...

Sarah: <:/ *nods, and retreats back into the room, getting into bed*

Sam: *he follows Sarah in, getting into bed, but scooting a bit away from her, trying to give her space*

Sarah: *notices this and somewhat appreciates it, though it wasn't really necessary. She tries to fall asleep, staring at the wall*

Sam: *he's having as much trouble sleeping, as what had happened that day has shaken him*

Sarah: *eventually falls asleep, trying to forget the whole ordeal*

Sam:; *he stares off into space for a while before eventually falling asleep as well*

The Next Morning

Sam: *gets up early to go to work. He gets ready and walks out, only to find that brown paper bag Sarah left on the kitchen table. What had she brought home the night before? He takes a peak inside*

Sarah: *is still asleep*

Bag: *contains a bottle of wine (a rather pricey one at that) and a now-wilted flower*

Sam: *this makes him feel much worse - she went out and got that for them because she loved him... and when she came home the night before, it most likely twisted a knife into her heart. What if she didn't truly forgive him? Sam left the apartment with these thoughts plaguing his mind*

Sarah: *wakes up after a little while. She notices Sam's gone (perhaps that was for the best...) and gets out of bed, not bothering to get out of her sleeping clothes. She wasn't going anywhere. *she sees the bag on the table and sighs--she was hoping they would have had their own private little celebration the night before, but... due to the "circumstances," they couldn't possibly have... she takes the bag and puts the bottle of wine away, throwing out the bag and the dead flower*

Sam: *he shakes his head slowly, fully lying back on the couch* ...No... not to ah c'vilian...

Celine: *leans closer towards him, sliding one hand across his chest* Oh, come on now, you don't have to worry about THAT...

Sam: *he likes the feeling of her touching him like that, but it confuses him, especially in his drugged state* ... Sarah...?

Celine: *raises an eyebrow--this was new... and she could use it to her advantage* Mhmm... *slides closer, resting her head on his shoulder, moving her hand across to his shoulder* You sure you still can't tell me...?

Sam: Arm'ry's down th'stairs in th'underground level at th'outpost... farthest door to th'left of the file vault... why'you need t'know this, Sarah...?

Celine: Oh, I was just wondering... *lowers her voice to a whisper, putting her lips close to his ear* would you need a code to get in...?

Sam: ...Mhm... s'ah five digit number...

Celine: *moves her mouth down closer to his neck, so her lips brush against it when she speaks* Could you tell me the number...?

Sam: *he let's out a tiny sigh when she does this* ... Why...?

Sarah: *is standing in the doorway, glaring furiously at the scene before her* I'd like to ask the same question.

Celine: *quickly looks her over (this must be Sarah), then slowly gets off of Sam, smirking* Well, I'm sure you'll find the answer if you look hard enough...

Sarah: Get. Out.

Sam: *rubbing his head from the headache he's developed as the drugs wear off* S-Sarah...? Then... *he squints at Celine* Then who the hell are YOU...??

Celine: Oh, it's not important... *brushes past Sarah, out of the room* I'll see you again soon...

Sarah: *slams the door. She turns to glare at Sam* Explain. Now.

Sam: *still rubbing his head* I-I can't... I don't... I don't know what happened... this isn't - that wasn't what it looked like - I can't even remember...

Sarah: Great. *angrily puts a bag that she had been carrying down on the counter* So now, your memory conveniently goes blank. How LOVELY. *goes into their room and changes, fuming*

Sam: Sarah - wait! D:> *he gets up a bit too fast and stumbles after her, speaking to her through the closed bedroom door* I SWEAR, that one woman - I don't even know who she IS, or WHY she was there - all I remember is walking out of the outpost and hearing something cry out for help! I swear!

Sarah: *was still angry (GOD, it's happening AGAIN...), but... she opens the door* If I ever see that woman again...

Sam: *he uses the opportunity to pull Sarah into a tight hug* ... You won't. I promise.

Sarah: *her anger slowly fades, and she eventually relaxes, sighing* ...okay...

Sam: Of course, no problem. :) If there's any issues with housing or finding a job, I'd be happy to help you out, but that's only if you get desperate, otherwise I'm pretty busy.

Woman: I think I'll be fine, but thank you. ^^

Sam: Right, right - well, good luck! :) *he heads over to his office to fill out that paperwork that desperately needs to be filled out*

Woman: *watches him walk away, a smirk appearing on her face* This'll be easier than I thought...

Sam: *later that night he walks out of the outpost over to the parking lot where he parked his motorcycle. He looks forward to seeing Sarah after such a long day* :)

Woman: *panicked, she calls from a nearby alley* S-Someone, help!! D8>

Sam: *he hears the desperate cry and immediately runs to the source, getting his guns ready* Hang on, I'm coming! D8 *when he finds the woman in the alley alone, he's confused* Hey, wait... what happened? D:/

Woman: *quickly lashes out and stabs a small dart into Sam's neck--there wasn't enough serum in the dart to knock him out, no, but she didn't have to. he would be easy enough to gain information from*

Sam: *doesn't have enough time to react - he grunts when he feels the needle pierce his flesh, and almost immediately does his vision blur and he feels woozy, LIGHTHEADED, barely able to stand up, swaying from side to side in his pathetic attempt to keep his balance* ... What'd you... drug me... with...?

Woman: *puts her hands on his shoulders to steady him, pulling him a bit further into the alley* That's not important right now, Mr. Gatzsky...

Sam: *robbed of his reasoning and his ability to think for himself, he decides that simply agreeing with this woman is the best choice at the moment* ...Mmkay... guess it's not...

Woman: *leans him against a wall so she doesn't have to hold him up* Good. Now, Mr. Gatzsky, Do you know where I could find the armory? I know there's one in the outpost but I simply can't find it...

Sam: *tries fighting against the drugs* Can't tell you... y'r unauthorized... can't have n'y mil'tary 'quiptment...

Woman: *leans in closer, almost whispering to him* Oh no no, it's okay, I promise I won't tell anyone... you can trust me.

Sam: *he almost answers her, but instead asks the question -* Who're you...?

Woman: *smirks, playing with the collar of his coat* You can call me Celine. Where do you live, Mr. Gatzsky?

Sam: ...453 Gull Drive... 'partment C12...

Woman: *remarks to herself that this was definitely too easy* We can go talk there, then. *puts an arm around his waist to support him, and walks him out of the alleyway, back to the apartment*

Sam: *he enters the apartment with her, managing to unlock the door after several pathetic attempts. With Celine's help, he stumbles in*

Celine: *locks the door behind them, quickly glancing around the apartment before guiding Sam to the couch and sitting him down* Now then, Mr. Gatzsky... *sits down next to him, very close to him* Could you please tell me where the armory is?

THE NEXT MORNING

Sam: *he's still asleep, snuggled up against Sarah, a smile on his face*

Sarah: *slowly wakes up, her still-lingering smile growing wider as she remembers the events of the night before--well, the happy ones anyway. not wanting to disturb Sam, she stays quiet, laying there in bed with him*

Sam: Mmn... *he slowly comes to, smiling drowsily at Sarah when he sees her*

Sarah: *smiles back at him, nuzzling him affectionately* God morning...

Sam: ... Last night wasn't just a dream, was it...?

Sarah: *laughs a little bit* No, it happened. You definitely proposed, and I do recall me accepting. X)

Sam: *his smile reappears on his face* Oh my god, it really happened... oh my GOD... oh my god. I-I need to get to the outpost! D: *he quickly gets out of bed and starts getting ready*

Sarah: *stays out of his way so he won't be late* ^^;

Sam: *after getting ready, he runs out to his motorcycle, getting to work on time*

A woman: *is there, and seems to be looking for someone. when she sees Sam coming in, she approaches him* Excuse me, are you Lieutenant Gatzsky?

Sam: *is surprised to see the woman there* Oh! Yes I am. Do you need any help? Any problems or concerns? :/

Woman: Oh, no, not yet at least. I just came in from out of town, I just wanted to see how well the military worked in the city...

Sam: Well, we're working very hard to decrease the crime rate at the moment. We've got a ton of patrols on the streets, so our civilians are safe for the most part - then we're also hunting down a serial killer at the moment, but I doubt he'll hurt you, so don't worry about that. :)

Woman: *sounds relieved* Oh, that's good, really good to hear. :)

Sam: Well, that's the status on how well the military's doing here in the city... where do you come from again? :/

Woman: I'm from Montreal--I just moved down here, trying for a new start.

Sam: *smiles cheerily at her* Well, you came to the right place - *he sticks out his hand to shake hers* Welcome to New York.

Woman: *smiles, and shakes his hand* I appreciate the welcome. :) Thank you so much for taking the time to talk to me. ^^

Sam: *he tries forcing a smile as tears started to roll down his face* wh... wh-why am I so unhappy? We're gonna get married, I can't just let this... RUIN that...

Harry: ... then why was there yelling?

Sarah: <:( ... *snuggles into him, pulling him closer to her* ...You know it's not his fault...

Claire: ...He thought you didn't remember him...

Sam: ... I know... *he sniffles, snuggling back*

Harry: *he frowns* ... but I DO remember Sam...

Sarah: *hugs him, one hand combing through his hair* ...She'll forgive you, she knows you didn't mean it...

Claire: ...you didn't remember fast enough... *sighs* let's go back to sleep, okay?

Sam: ... Does she? She believes in him too much...

Harry: ... m'kay... *he starts limping back up the steps*

Sarah: Well, you never know, she could be right... she DOES spend a lot of time with him... <:/

Claire: *helps him up the stairs and into their room*

Sam: *he turns his head away from Sarah, staring at the wall* ... I guess...

Harry: *enters their bedroom, getting into bed with Claire's help* ... I'm happy for him...

Sarah: Hey... *puts a hand on his cheek, and gently turns his head so he's looking at her again* We're supposed to be happy, remember...? <:(

Claire: *gets into bed next to him* So am I, Harry... so am I.

Sam: *he sighs, giving her a small smile, this time a genuine one*

Harry: ... Does he know I'm happy for him...?

Sarah: *smiles with him* There we go... that's better.

Claire: *sighs* I wish he did...

Sam: *he laughs a little at this, smiling a bit more widely* Y'know, I honestly didn't think you'd say "yes"...

Harry: ... I'll tell him at the wedding... I'll let him know...

Sarah: *raises an eyebrow* ...Why not?

Claire: *smiles sadly at him* He'll be happy to hear it...

Sam: Well, I know that you were afraid of commitment before, like, you know, things going wrong in a relationship and all that...

Harry: Who'll be happy to hear what?

Sarah: Well... so far you've managed to prove all my theories wrong, so you're definitely doing SOMETHING right... :P But really, you're just... you're not like the rest of them, and I can tell. I can tell that you're not lying when you say you won't hurt me. I can actually believe you.

Claire: *her smile turns into a frown, and she shakes her head* don't worry about it, Harry... just go to sleep.

Sam: ... Well, I'm glad you can. *still smiling at her, he reaches over and hugs her with one arm*

Harry: *feels that he's forgotten something important, but soon nods off anyway*

Sarah: *hugs him back, pressing a chaste kiss to his lips as she snuggles closer to him*

Sam: *he snuggles back, soon falling asleep*

Sarah: *glad that she was able to turn his mood around, she falls asleep with a smile on her face*

Sam: *his smile disappears* ... yeah... I'm sure he will...

Claire: <:/ ... Everything will be fine, Sam, don't worry...

Sarah: *nods in agreement, trying to be reassuring* <:(

Sam: *he laughs halfheartedly* ... Don't kid yourself, Mom... he won't even remember my name...

Claire: *frowns* That's not true...

Sarah: ...

Sam: ... It is, Mom - I KNOW it is... he barely knows I exist because of his goddamn ALZHEIMER'S! It's RUINED him! He's NOT my dad anymore!

Claire: *narrows her eyes* It's not his fault, Sam, and you know it!

Sarah: D:> ...

Sam: I KNOW IT'S NOT HIS FAULT! I KNOW HE'S NOT BLATANTLY HURTING ME ON PURPOSE!! BUT HE STILL IS!! D8<

Claire: He can't control what he remembers, you can't blame this on him! D:<

Sarah: *is too afraid to step into the conflict* D:>

Sam: AND SO WHAT HE DOES FORGET IS HIS ONLY SON?? DO YOU KNOW WHAT KIND OF PAIN I'VE SUFFERED BECAUSE OF THAT?? DO YOU?? DDD8<

Harry: *slowly makes his way down the stairs, having awakened from the shouting. He clutched the banister tightly to keep his balance* Claire...? What's going on...? D;>

Claire: He--*turns to face Harry, and her anger fades* ...It's nothing, Harry... Nothing to worry about. Sam was just telling me that he's proposed to Sarah, and that she accepted.

Sarah: <:/ ...

Harry: *he has to think hard to remember who Sam and Sarah are, as his memory was especially bad when he was tired. He fails and gives up* Who proposed...?

Sam: *the hurt is visible in his eyes, replacing the rage that was there a few seconds before. He speaks quietly to Sarah, his throat sore from yelling* ... C'mon, Sarah, let's go...

Sarah: <:(... *leaves the house with Sam*

Claire: *almost stops them, but knows that won't do anything, so she decides against it. She just watches them leave with a sad look in her eyes* ...

Sam: *he drives home with Sarah, upset*

Harry: Wait - what happened...?

Sarah: *lets them both back into the apartment, quiet* ...

Claire: ... I don't... *shakes her head* Don't worry about it...

Sam: ... I'm gonna go to bed... *he immediately goes to the bedroom, getting out of his nice shirt and pants and climbing in*

Harry: ... Was that Sam...? D;>

Sarah: ... *goes into the room and changes out of her nice clothes as well, climbing into bed. she looks over at him* ... hey, um...

Claire: ...Yes. It was.

Sam: *he doesn't look at her, still upset* ... "um" what?

Harry: Sam's engaged...?

Sarah: ...I was going to ask if you were okay, but already know the answer to that...

Claire: *is now wishing she had made them stay a bit longer* ...yes, he is.

Sam: Right - c'mon, let's hurry! :D *he runs out with her, gets on the motorcycle and heads off, first to Ms. Huntings*

Sarah: *hops off the bike as soon as they get there, and runs up to the door to knock* Come on, be awake... D:

Key: *answers the door within a few moments, looking a bit tired* Sarah...? Hey, I wasn't expecting you... is something wrong? D:

Sarah: Nope--Far from it, actually. Weee've got some important news to tell you. :3

Sam: Right - Sarah, you get to tell her, since she's your mom - I'll tell my mom. :3

Sarah: Okay, fiiiine...

Key: Well, spit it out...! D:/

Sarah: *holds up her hand so the ring was clearly visible* Sam and I are getting married. :D

Key: *is visibly shocked by this--but in a good way* I--You--this--oh my GOSH, are you really??

Sarah: *nods, grinning*

Key: *puts a hand over her mouth* oh my GOD... Sarah, that's incredible...! Congratulations, both of you...!!

Sam: *he's grinning again* Thank you, Ms. Huntings - we need - oh gosh - we need to figure out when to have the wedding. D:

Sarah: You're right...! D:

Key: *waves them off* oh, you can worry about that later! First things first--does Claire know?

Sam: Ah, no - we were going to tell her next. <:P

Key: Okay, alright, good... oh my gosh, but this is so exciting...

Sarah: I know~!

Key: *contains a squeal* Aah, my daughter's getting married...!! ...Oh god, I feel old now. D;

Sam: You can go talk to my mom about that, Ms. Huntings - she'll be experiencing the same thing. XD;

Key: Mnh... you two should run over and let Claire know before it gets too late. D:

Sarah: *nods* right. *grins at her mother* I'll let you know when we start planning stuff, okay?

Key: Okay. :) *hugs her for a moment, then lets her go* ...Go. we'll deal with the technical stuff later.

Sarah: Bye, mom! Come on, Sam-- *hurries back to the motorcycle*

Sam: Right! Bye, Ms. Huntings! *he runs off to the motorcycle and hops on, driving to his parent's house. He knocks on the door*

Harry: *asleep*

Claire: *was about to go to bed when she heard knocking--she heads downstairs*

Sarah: *waits with Sam* ...

Claire: *opens the door* ...Sam?

Sam: Hey, Mom, can we come in? We've got some really important news for you. :D

Claire: ? Of course... *steps aside to let them both in*

Sarah: *goes inside with Sam, making sure to keep the ring hidden for now*

Sam: *he's somewhat fidgety from excitement* Uh, well, I've been thinking about it for a while, and tonight I proposed to Sarah, and... well... she said yes. We're engaged. :D

Claire: *her face lights up, and she lets out an uncharacteristic squeal, quickly clamping a hand over her mouth to silence herself. She grabs Sam and putts him into a tight hug* I knew you could do it, I told you you could!!

Sarah: *had not expected that reaction from Claire, and laughs a bit* XD;

Sam: *is surprised by the sudden hug from his mother, but he hugs her back, laughing a little happily* I know, I KNOW you told me, Mom! You were right! XD

Claire: I was right... *lets go of him, and clears her throat, trying to compose herself* Ahem. *smiles at Sam* I'm proud of you, Sam. <:)

Sarah: :)

Sam: Thanks, Mom... <:) Um, we should be heading back to the apartment. We just wanted to tell you about this.

Claire: Well, thank you for coming to tell me. I appreciate it. :) I'm sure your father will be glad to hear it too. <:)

Sarah: ...

*They eventually eat their dinner in silence. Afterwards, they walk out to the motorcycle*

Sam: *he stops* ... Uh... S-Sarah... I have to... t-to ask you something...

Sarah: *stops, and looks at him, confused. she could see his nervousness returning* ...Yes? I'm listening...

Sam: U-uh... I-I, uh... *shaking, he gets on one knee, looking through his pockets until he finds the tiny black box - he quickly gets it out and nearly drops it, fumbling with it in his hands before, with his hands nearly VIBRATING, he opens the box to reveal the ring* W-will y-y-you... w-w-will y-y-you m-m-marry me?

Sarah: *her eyes had widened when he dropped down on one knee, but everything seemed to freeze as soon as she saw the ring. for a few moments, she just stared at him in mild shock, arguing back and forth with herself--did she want this? did she...? she finally manages to choke out a single word* ...Y-Yes...

Sam: *he's surprised by her response, and in fact, almost doesn't believe her. He's frozen in shock* ... Wh-what...?

Sarah: *blinks, confused by HIS response* I-I um... I-I said yes. *nods, as if she was confirming her answer* Y-Yes. *lets out a shaky sigh, trying to calm herself* I-It would be an honor... to marry you. <:)

Sam: *he slowly gets up, his eyes showing relief, his wide smile showing happiness, he laughs a little, incredibly joyful, excited. He pulls her into a tight hug*

Sarah: *hugs him back just as tightly, laughing in relief--she was incredibly joyful, more than she thought she'd be during a moment like this (though maybe the fact that it was Sam helped a bit)... but whatever the reason, she was happy, so was he, and nothing else mattered*

Sam: *still grinning, he carefully slips the ring on her finger* ... This... this is the happiest moment of my life, Sarah, I just... thank you... thank you, thank you, thank you...

Sarah: *Just looks at him, smiling, not really knowing what to say in response. she looks down at the ring on her finger, and her smile falters, only for an instant, as the reality of her answer suddenly hits her--but her smile widens when she realizes that she doesn't really care. she looks back up and gives him a warm smile, and nods* I'm glad you feel that way... <:)

Sam: *still smiling at her, he speaks quietly* ... Let's head home... *he leads her to the motorcycle, getting on it with her, and driving back to Sarah's apartment*

Sarah: *lets them both into the apartment, and only when she's shut the door does she allow herself a tiny squeal of glee. the impossible had just occurred: they were engaged. she was filled to the brim with excitement and joy, and it showed--it was all she could do to restrain herself*

Sam: *he enters the apartment after her, smiling widely, soaking in her excitement like a sponge, making him even more excited. He then kisses her, happy, so very happy*

Sarah: *eagerly kisses him back, trying to vent some of her excitement out that way, fearing she might explode if she kept holding it in*

Sam: *he breaks the kiss for a second - only a second* I think our moms need to know.

Sarah: Mm, you're right... would it be too late to call, or...?

Sam: It's like, eight... I think we should call. Or maybe it would be better to tell them in person... :)

Sarah: *grins* I think that'll work best--We should head back down before it gets too late, then. :3

Sam: I-I'm fine! I'm totally fine - do I not look fine? Because I'm completely fine! I-I have to bo to the gathroom - I-I-I MEAN GO TO THE BATHROOM. *he quickly gets up and heads into the men's room*

Sarah: *watches him get up and leave, now feeling a bit nervous herself--what's he so freaked out about...??*

Sam: *in the bathroom, which was empty except for him, he tries giving himself a pep talk -* C'mon, Sam - C'MON... how come you can take down a drug lord no problem, but this - THIS whole thing scares the crap outta you?? D8> *he smacks himself upside the head* Stop that - stop getting all nervous - RELAX... relax... okay... okay, I can do this... c'mon, I can DO this... *he takes the box out of his pocket, opening it and glancing at the ring quickly, as if it could somehow encourage him* ... c'mon... *he puts the box back in his pocket*

Sarah: *drums her fingers against the table, trying to calm herself down. there was nothing to worry about, he just had to go to the bathroom. nothing wrong with that, right?*

Sam: *taking a deep breath, he walks out of the bathroom, sitting back down at the table* Hey... uh... s-so... yeah. Hi. .__.;

Waiter: *suddenly appears to talk about the specials for the day and to hand out menus*

Sam: Oh. Thank you. D:

Sarah: *after the waiter leaves, she glances at the menu, occasionally looking up at Sam* ...are you sure you're okay?

Sam: Y-Yes. Yes, I'm... I'm okay. Don't worry about me. *he smiles slightly at her*

Sarah: *isn't convinced, but decides to change the subject* Do you want an appetizer, or...?

Sam: Uh, only if you want to. What sounds interesting to you?

Sarah: *Sam's nervousness was getting to her, and making HER nervous* Oh, I was just wondering if you wanted anything, I'm uh... not that hungry.

Sam: Ah, okay then... <:/ Well, I think I'm going to just get spaghetti for dinner - gotta stick with the classics, y'know?

Sarah: Oh yeah, totally... *skims through the menu again* ...I think I'll have the chicken parmesan, then...

Sam: Awesome - and knowing this place, I'm sure both our things will taste pretty damn good. :)

Sarah: *smiles and nods, feeling a bit of that nervousness fade*

Sam: *he waits, looking at her silently*

Sarah: *absently drums her fingers on the table, trying to think of something to talk about* ...

Sam: *he snuggles back, not exactly paying much attention to the movie. He's too busy thinking about what will happen this night*

Sarah: *isn't particularly interested in the movie either, though she really has no idea what Sam has planned--she snuggles against him, just happy to have him there*

Sam: *he's happy to be with Sarah, and snuggles with her for the rest of the movie*

Sarah: *looks up at him as the credits roll, still snuggled against him* What time's that reservation...?

Sam: Uuhh... *he checks the time* In an hour. We should get ready.

Sarah: Mhmm. *leans up to give him a quick kiss on the cheek, before getting up and going into the room, grabbing a change of clothes and going into the bathroom for a quick shower*

Sam: *he gets up as well. As Sarah was using the bathroom, he quickly changes outside into a nice shirt and pants, then puts on a jacket over it so he had a good place to hide the ring*

Sarah: *comes out after a little while, dressed in a nice button up shirt and pants, completely different than what she usually wears* Okay, ready to go?

Sam: *he looks at her for a bit, admiring the change* ... Uh... yeah - yeah, I'm ready. Let's go. :)

Sarah: :) *walks out of the apartment with Sam* So, are we walking or driving?

Sam: It's kinda far away - we'll drive. :)

Sarah: *hops off the motorcycle once they reach the restaurant, and waits for him* :)

Sam: *gets off the motorcycle, smiling at Sarah. He takes her by the arm and leads her in*

Host: Hello, welcome to La Cucina di Venezia. Do you have a reservation?

Sam: Yeah.

Host: Under what name?

Sam: Gatzsky.

Host: A pleasure to have the Lieutenant of the military joining us this evening. *he checks his computer* Yup, someone will seat you in just a second.

Sam: Thank you. :)

Sarah: *waits with Sam. again, she wonders WHY he'd be taking her out to a fancy place like this when there was really nothing that really called for it... a crazy possibility crosses her mind, but she quickly dismisses it, deciding that the explanation he gave last night was believable enough*

*eventually they are led to a table for two in a more isolated section of the restaurant*

Sam: *he sit down, smiling at Sarah. Inside, he was screaming. This is a stupid idea, he thinks, she'll say no, she'll hate you for the rest of her life - there is no way in hell she'll say yes. He tries to shake off these thoughts*

Sarah: *smiles back, completely unaware of his thoughts* So um... thanks. For today. *glancing around* This is a really nice place...

Sam: I-I uh... w-well, yeah, I just thought... u-uh... I thought you'd might enjoy going out to somewhere really nice... um... like this. .__.;

Sarah: ...Sam, are you okay? <:/
