O. Claire: *locks eyes with her other self for just a moment, before turning to go towards Iratus*

Harry: *puts an arm around Claire's shoulders* ...

Claire: ...Being forced to kill you would have been bad enough... but then being forced to serve Lucifer? Forced co carry that madman's child? Not that Iratus is a bad kid, but... To be completely honest, I wouldn't have mentally survived all of that. I would have given up.

Iratus: *turns to snarl at Harry, but stops... stops and only stares. Harry looked far too much like his father's true form to simply ignore it. And soon, with his judgement severely messed up, he hugs Harry tightly, sobbing into his shoulder, desperately looking for comfort*

Harry: D8 ... *stands there, stunned for a while. Then he hugs Iratus back* ...

O. Claire: !!... *runs over towards them, stopping a few steps away* ...

Claire: *watches them from a distance* ...

Zorua: <:/

Sarah: *sighs in relief*

Iratus: *continues to cry, forgetting where he is or who he's hugging - he just needs SOMETHING - SOMETHING to calm him down. Or not. He feels like he can cry forever*

Harry: D:> ... *pats Iratus on the back, not knowing what else to do*

Sam: ... At least Dad stopped Iratus...

O. Claire: ... *steps closer, and puts a hand on Iratus' arm, stroking his fur--it was all she could do, she didn't have any room to join the hug* ....

Iratus: *he cries until he finally FINALLY can't, and lets go of Harry, speaking quietly* (...I'm sorry...) *glances at his mother* (... I'm sorry, Mother...)

O. Todd: ... It kills me to see someone this young deal with so much heartbreak... it reminds me of Harry...

O. Claire: There's nothing to apologize for, Ira... *hugs him, now that Harry's let go of him*

Iratus: *hugs his mother back, only slightly comforted now*

Claire: *starts to wonder what it would be like without Harry around... the thought saddened her, and she continues to look on silently* ... <:/

O. Key: *unconsciously reaches for Todd's hand, taking it. She had been so close to losing him, it scared her*

Iratus: ... *he lets go of his mother when he hears this* ...

O. Todd: *he holds Key's hand tightly, knowing what she must be thinking. He rubs the back of her hand with his thumb reassuringly*

Claire: *nods without hesitation*

O. Claire: *smiles gratefully, then turns her attention back to Harry. She walks over to him, then hugs him tightly*

O. Key: *is grateful for Todd's reassurance--she hoped she wouldn't have to lose him...*

Sarah: *looks on sadly*

Zorua: *wants to approach Iratus, to talk to him, but feels like she shouldn't intrude*

Harry: *he hugs the other Claire back, knowing that this is helping her* ...

Iratus: *he finds himself moving slightly towards Zorua*

O. Todd: *keeps holding Key's hand* ...

Sam: *watches his mother and father hug* ...

O. Claire: *rests her head on his shoulder, sniffling a bit. it wasn't until then that she realized how much she missed HER Harry... however jumbled his mind may have been* ...

Claire: *watches silently, feeling a pang of pity for her other-self. she hadn't realized how good she had it, just by still having Harry around..*

Zorua: *notices this, and scoots a bit closer to him* <:(

O. Key: *doesn't let go of his hand, still watching*

Claire: *finds Iratus, and seeing that he won't fight, she stays near him. Sh begins to worry--this is exactly how Lucifer was before killing himself. what if...?*

Iratus: *continues to just stare blankly ahead, emotionally exhausted. He is playing Older Todd's words over and over again in his mind, the realization that his father really was a monster ringing louder and louder and LOUDER in his ears* ...

O. Todd: *defends*

Claire: *occasionally sends a worried glance in Iratus' direction while she fights* <:(

Zorua: *fights*

Sarah: *kicking @$$*

O. Key: *defending*

Iratus: *And then he snaps. Enraged, Iratus lets out a bloodthirsty roar and charges at the opposing team. He breaks enemies, tears them apart, EATS then, taking out his anger and frustration and SORROW on them, drooling and snarling, tears rolling down his cheeks*

Sam: *he stops when he sees this* D8> ???

O. Todd: ... Oh crap...

Claire: *watches, frozen in shock* D8> ....

Zorua: *is more scared than she's ever been--but she can't look away* D8 ...

Sarah: *watches* h-holy shoot... D8

Iratus: *tears the other team to pieces*

Harry: *sees this and immediately worries. Iratus is very, VERY upset, and could perhaps hurt his own teammates. In his beast form, he launches himself at Iratus, running at him, ready to stop him*

Sarah: Oh god--!! *can only see this ending one way--with one of them getting severely injured*

Sarah: It's.... I don't know, I feel safer. Like, I have a security net or something because I know he's always there...

Sam: *he looks her directly in the eyes, a longing showing in his features* ... that must feel nice...

Sarah: *looks back into his eyes, and feels a pang of sympathy for him--his family had always seemed like they were better off than hers, but... that never really mattered to him* ...

Sam: *he back-peddles, not quite comfortable with showing so much feeling at once* I-I mean, I love the guy and all, don't think I'm... I'm ANGRY or RESENTFUL or anything... but I guess I don't really have a father like you have a father. I had to grow up on my own. Dad couldn't help me.

Sarah: ...You had ME... *mentally smacks herself for saying that. as if it would help this situation at all*

Sam: *he smiles slightly at this* ... I know... sorry, I did... still do... appreciate your support. You've been my best... ONLY friend since ever.

Sarah: *smiles a bit in relief (okay, it DID help), then steps forward and hugs him* And I'll keep being your best friend. For as long as I'm humanly capable of doing so.

Sam: *hugs her back, laughing a little* ... Don't say that, the creators'll turn you into a beast-thing again...

Sarah: Hey, it was still ME in there you know. :P

Sam: Well, you were monstrously capable of being my friend while like that. :P

Sarah: *rolls her eyes* Then that means you have nothing to worry about. :P

Sam: Right. XP Heh... oh! If Iratus is awake, then your dad - yeah. :D

Sarah: Yep. :D Let's go find him. ^^

Sam: Alright. :) *he walks out with Sarah, looking for Iratus*

O. Todd: *quickly finds them* Hey guys, where are you going? :)

Sarah: We're looking for you, actually. And Iratus. ^^;

Iratus: (...I don't know... I just feel sad right now...)

Claire: *strokes his fur* That's understandable... just try your best to get some sleep, alright? <:(

Iratus: (Yes, Mother...) *he closes his eyes, trying to sleep - knowing he would need sleep for the fight the next day*

Claire: *closes her eyes and falls asleep relatively quickly*

The Next Morning

Sam: *he gets up early and walks into the hall - he decides to visit Sarah, as he knows how fragile his relationship is with her at the moment - it would be best, he thinks, if he spends time with her, and gives her a chance to recreate the relationship they had before*

Sarah: *is just getting out of bed. she gets ready, then sits down on her bed and waits for the alarm*

Sam: *he knocks on Sarah's door, already feeling awkward, wondering why he decided to visit her*

Sarah: ! *gets up an answers the door. she wasn't expecting Sam, but just knowing that he wanted to visit her lifted her mood* Oh, hi...! :)

Sam: Uh... hey, Sarah... just thought it would be nice to visit you... maybe talk a little. You wanna talk?

Sarah: Um... sure, I guess... *anything to spend time with him, really*

Sam: *he smiles a bit* Alright, uh, do you wanna talk out here, or in your room? :)

Sarah: Uh, in my room would be okay... we wouldn't be blocking the hallwway, heheh. ^^; *backs into her room, giving Sam room to come inside*

Sam: *he enters the room, entering privacy and a sense of security. He closes the door behind him* ... So... uh... *tries thinking of something to talk about with Sarah* So Lucifer... uh... died.

Sarah: That he did... personally, I'm glad he's gone. I feel terrible for Iratus, though...

Sam: I don't understand why Iratus's so attached to Lucifer - he treated Iratus like shoot...

Sarah: Well... I dunno... but Iratus is technically still a little kid... maybe he just doesn't understand.

Sam: ... So is that what he believes ALL fathers are like...?

Sarah: ...well, he hasn't had any other experience with it, so... <:/

Sam: That's a horrible thing to grow up thinking... he should have hung around YOUR dad a whole bunch. D:>

Sarah: I really wish he had, now... <:/ Maybe he still could...?

Iratus: (Uh... so... y-your name's Mikenno?) D:

Jacob: Don't look in his eyes, Mikenno - they've got mind control powers.

Lucifer: *dead*

Sam: ... Maybe... we can, uh... I guess we can give it a shot...

Mikenno: *averts his eyes* Thanks for the warning. *he spots Lucifer's body, and breathes a small sigh of relief. He wouldn't have to deal with that asshole anymore. he speaks to Iratus* You're related to Lucifer, right?

Claire: He's his son...

Mikenno: *seems rather taken aback by this* Really? Huh. He never seemed like the type.

Sarah: *smiles gratefully, and suddenly hugs him* Thank you...

Iratus: *his ears droop and he looks down at the floor, speaking quietly* (H-he could have been a g-good person... h-he j-just needed to t-try a little harder... j-just a little harder...)

Jacob: *sighs, half in annoyance, and half in sympathy*

Lucifer: *dead*

meanwhile

Sam: *hugs her back* Yeah... sure... <:/ *he hopes that somehow - SOMEHOW - this can fix what has been destroyed between them*

Mikenno: *can't say he has much sympathy for Lucifer, but he DOES feel pity for his spawn* <:/

Claire: *puts her hand on his neck, stroking his fur again* It's alright, Iratus... <:(

Mikenno: *notices that THIS Claire was the one who was Imperia--could she...?* ...are you his mother?

Claire: ... *nods*

Sarah: *waits, as if to see if something would somehow change right then and there, but... nothing happened. this brings her mood down even further (no no, you can't use your powers, Sarah... it wouldn't be real that way...)* ... *lets go of Sam* So I'll um... I'll see you tomorrow.

Jacob: And I am not going to say anything.

Iratus: ... (He loved mother...)

Lucifer: *dead*

Sam: ...Right... we'll try and make this work. <:/

Mikenno: *looks at Lucifer, then at Claire* ...Did you live him?

Claire: ...only for a moment. The rest of the time i was being... influenced.

Sarah: *nods* Okay. Thank you. <:/

Jacob: I'm particularly interested in when you ACTUALLY loved him. :/

Iratus: *quietly* (... He could have been good...)

Sam: Right... goodnight, Sarah... *he turns and leaves to go to his room*

Claire: ...Iratus changed him for a short while... I saw what he could be. All he needed to do was try a little harder, but...

Mikenno: So you saw good in him, huh?

Claire: *nods* ...At least until he tried to burn Iratus. I lost all hope in him then...

Sarah: *watches him leave* ... goodnight... *turns and heads back to her own room, feeling a bit more hopeful. (goodnight... not goodbye.)*

Iratus: (I-I just spoke to him at the wrong time - it wasn't his fault, Father just got ANGRY, he -)

Jacob: Iratus. You're in denial.

Iratus: (I am NOT! He only needed another chance - just ONE MORE CHANCE and he could have changed!) D8>

Sam: *he goes into his room, into bed, and lies there, thinking of what could happen next. Could he ever truly bring himself to love Sarah more than like a sister? It seems like an impossible task, but Sarah seemed so desperate for them to be together again... Sam doesn't want to upset her*

Claire: Ira, shhh... it's okay. It wasn't your fault.

Mikenno: Iratus... I hate to say this, but your father was NOT a good person. there's a reason he was imprisoned for as long as he was... You're definitely much better without him.

Sarah: *goes to bed and tries to sleep, hoping things will be different soon*

Iratus: *roars angrily* (Don't say that!! All I wanted was a FATHER and all HE NEEDED was some SUPPORT and because he didn't get ANY SUPPORT he KILLED HIMSELF!!) DDD8<

Jacob: You can tell he's still a child because he's completely blind to how people really work.

Iratus: (SHUT UP!!) DDDDDDD8<

Claire: Iratus, you need to calm down!! You can't just explode like this! I know you miss your father, but going into a rage like this is NOT going to bring him back!

Mikenno: *decides to wait until Iratus calms down, thinking that the demon might attack if provoked further* ...

Iratus: *huffs and snorts angrily until his tension fades and his look of sorrow and despair returns*

Jacob: *goes back to making the cure for the Green Flu*

Claire: <:( ...

Mikenno: ...I truly am sorry for your loss... but here, loss is something we ALL have to deal with... I can tell you're strong, Iratus. If you lose hope now, you may end up suffering the same fate as your father.

Iratus: *he looks at Mikenno, upset, his words echoing inside his head, understanding them then breaks down sobbing once more*

Jacob: ...

Claire: *gives Mikenno a sad look, then turns her full attention to Iratus, hugging him tightly*

Mikenno: ...I have a feeling you'll make it far. I know this'll sound cheesy, but you can't give up.

Iratus: *weakly* (I-I know... M-Mother... perhaps we sh-should sleep...)

Jacob: ...

Mikenno: *mutters a "goodnight" and backs out of the room, going down the hallway--there was nothing more to say*

Claire: I think we should... Goodnight, Jacob. *leads Iratus out*

Jacob: Mhm. *continues working*

Iratus: *walks out with his mother to their room. Once entering it, he walks over to the bed and curls up on it, thinking*

Claire: *gets into bed next to him* ...Are you going to be okay, Ira?
