Sarah: *waits until he closes the door behind him to move. she sits down on the edge of the bed, staring at the floor, allowing her tears to flow* ...

Key: *was awake and ready to go, standing up from the bed as soon as Todd walks in, a questioning look on her face*

Todd: ... She did it. I don't feel anything anymore.

Key: ...You sure she didn't do anything else to you? <:/

Sarah: ... *gets up, zipping her hoodie up all the way and pulling up her hood, hiding her tears. she leaves the room and heads for the teleporters early, not wanting to be in her room anymore*

Todd: No, I'm pretty sure. <:/ Are we okay, now?

Key: ... I guess so... *suddenly gets serious* But if i find out you went off with her again...

Todd: *holds up his hands defensively* Hey, no way in hell, Key. We're fine now. No "love" bullshoot between us, okay?

Todd: *he gets up, gets dressed, and heads over to Sarah's room. He wanted to get this over with quickly*

Sarah: *had woken up a bit earlier than usual. she stares at the ceiling for a while, not really wanting to get out of bed* ...

Todd: *he knocks on the door* Sarah, if you're awake, please open the door - it's Todd.

Sarah: *sits up, surprised-- she hops out of bed and grabs her hoodie, pulling it on and zipping it up halfway before opening the door* ...Hey... umm... what's up?

Todd: Well, I kinda still have feeling for you, and... well... *he rubs his neck awkwardly* I kinda... need you to get rid of them, please... it's kinda weird now, what, with me being back with Key and all...

Sarah: *is visibly disappointed* ...oh... well... come on in, I guess... *steps back into her room, giving Todd room to come inside*

Todd: *he steps inside, closing the door behind him. Todd notices Sarah's disappointed look, and frowns* ... I, uh... I DID have a good time with you, you know.

Sarah: I know--I-I mean, y-yeah... I-I did too... *shakes her head trying to clear her thoughts* So... what... what EXACTLY do you want me to do...?

Todd: Well, make me stop loving you. Like... destroy all those feelings I have for you, somehow... we can still be friends, though. <:/

Sarah: *her disappointment turns to sorrow, and she looks down* ...okay... but, um.... *looks around nervously, then locks eyes with Todd, drawing a bit closer to him* ...can we, um... *reaches up to put a hand on the side of his face*

Todd: Sarah, I... *he moves away from her hand* ... I don't know... I-I want to, but... Key's already angry with me, and... I just don't know...

Sarah: *pulls her hand back, speaking very quietly, heartbroken* ...okay... don't want you getting into any more trouble...

Todd: Well, hey... Sarah... D:> *he figures no one will know, so he leans back in and kisses her*

Sarah: !! *she kisses him back, seeming almost relieved. She hated the fact that they wouldn't be able to do anything remotely like this anymore... but she tried to push those thoughts out of her mind as she kisses him*

Todd: *he continues kissing Sarah for a few minutes before breaking the kiss. He speaks to her quietly* ... Are you ready, now? <:(

Sarah: *really truly isn't--but she wasn't about to tell him that. did he even know how she really felt about him? she nods at him, bringing a hand up to his face, trying to hold back the tears* ...a-are YOU ready?

Todd: ... Yeah, Sarah. I've been ready. You just don't SOUND ready...

Sarah: *in a tiny voice* I'm not... *leans in and whispers into his ear* Forget your love for me, Todd. Forget that lie. You don't lust after me anymore... You don't love me anymore... *her voice breaks at the end of the last sentence*

Todd: *stares blankly when she does this. When it ends, he gives her a tiny nod, feeling all that love for Sarah fade away*

Sarah: *lingers there for a moment before pulling back and turning away from him* ...There. It's done. G-Go back to Key... she might be wondering where you went...

Lucifer: *kneels down next to him* See? I'm not such a bad guy after all.

Lucifer: *he sits back down on his bed, smirking at Mikenno* ... I wonder what you're seeing...

Todd: <:/ ... *he gets into bed with Key. Todd longed for her forgiveness. He lightly touches her shoulder with his fingers*

Mikenno: *stays that way for a little while. he eventually calms down, his laughter slowing to a brief chuckle* hahah... heh... that was... interesting...

Key: *only sighs as a response, and twitches her shoulder away from him*

Lucifer: *he smiles at this* ... So you enjoyed it, then?

Todd: *his frown becomes more noticeable, and, in his desperation to be with Key, he starts rubbing her back. It was a quick fix to a terrible problem, but he couldn't bare to see Key angry with him like this*

Mikenno: You could say that... *rolls back onto his stomach, wincing a bit* mmn...

Key: *immediately relaxes, and mumbles* You're not helping your case...

Lucifer: Well, at least that's a "maybe". Would this mean there can be a truce between us?

Todd: *runs with them* SARAH, YOU HAVE YOUR WEIRD MIND-POWER THINGY, CAN'T YOU MAYBE FREE THEM??

Sam: *still chasing after them*

Lucifer: Ho hum... *taps his foot impatiently*

Mikenno: *suddenly seems to stumble, and slow down*

Todd: *notices Mikenno* Wait, wait what's he doing??

Mikenno: *completely stops in the middle of the hallway, and stares blankly at the floor* ...

Mikenno: *stands there, completely unresponsive, twitching slightly. after a few moments, he turns to face Lucifer* ...no...

Sam: *he stops, but glares angrily at Sarah*

Todd: *sighs in relief*

Lucifer: ... and you've broken free as well... that's... very annoying.

Key: *still watches Sam warily*

Sarah: Oh thank god... Sam, you don't have to listen to Lucifer anymore. You're free from him now.

Mikenno: *his blank expression quickly turns into a huge grin* Well, you kind of deserve the karma.

Sam: *he seems to become a bit more focused, then shakes his head and looks over at Sarah* Oh god - Lucifer, he - oh GOD! D8

Todd: You're okay now, man.

Lucifer: Alright then, Mikenno. You've won. A shame, though... I know how you felt when under my control - you felt HAPPY... HAPPY, Mikenno, for the first time since entering the Between World. And you were with ME. What a coincidence. *he leaves*

Mikenno: *roars furiously, defiantly, as the fallen angel walks away. he knew it wouldn't do much good, but it helped. she was ashamed of himself for acting the way he did under his control* ...

Sarah: ... *walks up to the dragon, and puts a hand on his shoulder* Hey... we're all on the same boat here, don't worry... we all did things we regret...

Key: *glances up at Sam, then quickly looks away, feeling guilty* ...

Sam: *he glances back at Key, then looks down at his feet. He felt used. Well, of course. But he was with Key - WITH her... and now, that was gone. For a moment, Sam felt that he had been happier when Lucifer was pulling strings*

Todd: It must especially suck since it was Lucifer, and... well... from what you told us before, it's obvious that you hate his guts.

Key: *rubs her arm awkwardly* ...

Mikenno: *through his teeth* Please stop reminding me...

Sarah: *rubs his shoulder* Hey... there's nothing we can do about it right now... Just forget about it for now, okay? We'll... we'll deal with it when we get back.

Todd: Right... we just... we'll avoid him. From now on. Forever.

Sam: *he sighs, saddened* Agreed.

Todd: *he fights with less cruelty, making sure the wounds he inflicts are fatal. He doesn't want to prolong the enemy's pain, and is sickened by the fact that when under Lucifer's control, he was the opposite*

Lucifer: *he watches Sarah, Todd, and Mikenno. But mostly, he watches Mikenno, smirking. He wanted to try winning back at least ONE of his group*

Mikenno: *stays well away from Lucifer, keeping to the air, torching enemies as he went*

Key: *stays with Todd, seeing he had reverted to his original (non-vicious) fighting style. she follows his lead, inflicting only fatal wounds*

Sarah: *continues fighting the same way she had before, shooting and killing, though she refuses to use her powers of manipulation*

*they fight*

Lucifer: *to Mikenno, in the dragon's head* (You can't just ignore me, Mikenno. Not after what we've been through together.)

Todd: *fighting*

Sam: *fighting*

Mikenno: *growls, trying to push Lucifer out of his mind* (get out of my head, Lucifer. I don't belong to you.)

Todd: *he nods slightly to Key, giving her a tired smile of relief, before he finally passes out*

Key: *passes out there next to him*

Sarah: *has a hard time falling asleep. she lays there, thinking, about what she had done, about what almost happened... she eventually falls into an uneasy sleep*

*the next morning*

Todd: *he wakes up and checks himself again. He still has the chain tattoos. With a groan of annoyance he lies back down and stares at the ceiling. He doesn't like those tattoos. They... were mocking him, almost. Mocking how he easily fell victim to Lucifer. Mocking how he had done terrible things, and he had no control over any of it*

Key: *wakes up* mmng'morning... *sees the tattoos, and frowns* ...still there...?

Sarah: *is still asleep*

Todd: ... I feel like I'll have these for the rest of my life... like... a reminder of what I did...

Key: But it wasn't you that did all those things...

Sarah: *slowly wakes up* ...

Todd: Yes it was. I was deluded, sure, but it was still me... I did it...

Key: ...just try to ignore them... we'll have to find some way to get rid of them*

Sarah: *listens in. she checks the back of her hand again--surely enough, the chains were still there. she sighs, and sits up, staring at her hands, doubting that the chains would ever go away* ...

Todd: ... come on, Key... we need to get ready. Gotta beat the alarm, y'know? *he starts getting ready*

Key: *gets up and gets ready also*

Sarah: *sits on the edge of the bed, not needing to do anything. She already had everything with her* ...

Todd: So... ready to go, everyone?

Lucifer: (Mikenno. Come to me. Immediately.)

Key: Mhmm.

Sarah: *stands up, and nods, looking away from them*

Lucifer: Sarah and Todd have both betrayed us. They've become corrupt. EVIL. We must destroy them.

Todd: Key's not mad at you, either. *he eyes Key, then puts an arm around her shoulders* RIGHT Key?

Lucifer: First, we must get Sam to join us. We need back-up. Sarah is strong. Come, Mikenno. *leaves the room, and heads for Sam's room*

Sarah: *isn't entirely convinced* ...

Todd: <:/ ... *he rubs Key's arm, not exactly convinced, himself* Alrighty. So we're all happy again, alright? No evil demonic force is gonna get between us.

Sarah: ...let's just go. *opens the door and leaves the room*

Sam: *as soon as he opens the door and sees Lucifer there, he slams it on the fallen angel's face*

Key: ... *follows Todd out*

Lucifer: Good, good. *lets go of him* Come now. We're off to kill Todd and Sarah. But mostly Sarah. Follow me. *walks off to meet with Todd, Key, and Sarah*

Sam: Yes, Master. *waits for Mikenno to let him go, then follows*

Key: ...

Sarah: *keeps walking, but stops when she sees Lucifer and Mikenno (and Sam?) coming down the hallway* ...Not good. Not good at ALL... D:>

Mikenno: *silently follows Lucifer. his eye twitches* ...

Key: *breathes a sigh of relief, but doesn't completely relax just yet* ...

Todd: *thoroughly confused, now, Todd backs himself in a corner, holding his head with a hand, and staring at the ground. His eyes shift around wildly, as if trying to search for some sort of true answer*

Sam: *he watches silently* ...

Key: *remains silent*

Sarah: ... *slowly approaches him* Todd... You know the answer, I can feel it... You know where you should be right now, and it's not with Lucifer, it's not with me, it's with Key, no matter how many times Lucifer's made me convince you otherwise...

Todd: *he falls to his knees, holding his head in both his hands now* Help me...! Please, GOD, HELP ME...!!

Sam: ... Help him, Sarah...

Sarah: *nods to him, never taking her eyes off of Todd. She walks over to him and kneels down in front of him, placing her hands on both of his, pulling him forward slightly so their foreheads touched--then, she whispers to him* Todd... you don't have to listen to Lucifer anymore... You're free of him now... and he'll never control you again...

Key: *stands silently, watching with interest, hoping she would be successful*

Todd: *he nods, then blinks a few times, snapping out of the short trance* ... oh god... *he remembers all of it, and is completely overcome with guilt* oh GOD...!! I - I never wanted to - I'm so sorry, I never wanted to kill you - to do ANY of those things - GOD, I'm SO SORRY! D8>

Sam: *he smiles sadly. Todd was back to normal. Though those tattoos on his body were still there*

Sarah: *hugs him tightly* I know, Todd, it's okay... I know it wasn't you, you're okay... we won't have to deal with him anymore.

Key: *is audibly relieved, holding a hand to her head as if she had a headache* ...god...

Todd: *he hugs Sarah, then looks over at Key, frowning heavily* ... I never wanted to hurt you, Key...

Sam: *he knows that at this point, his and Key's relationship was over. He sadly leaves the room*

Sarah: *feels like it's a good time to move away from Todd, thinking along the same lines as Sam was--their relationship, however false or forged it may have been, was over* ...

Key: ...I know. It just... it still hurts...

Todd: ... I'm sorry... I-I guess we should just... I don't know, go to bed... I shouldn't be, and yet I feel completely worn out...

Key: After all you've been put through, I'm not surprised... come on, I think we ALL need sleep...

Sarah: *glances at the door. What if Lucifer was still in her room? Now incredibly paranoid, she doesn't move* ...

Todd: *notices her not moving* ... Sarah?

Sarah: ! U-Umm... I-I don't wanna be anywhere near Lucifer right now... If he's still in my room, then...

Key: ... *looks at Todd, waiting for him to make a decision. She still wasn't very fond of Sarah at all, not after all she did, but... after finding out it wasn't her fault, she wasn't quite so sure anymore...* ...

Todd: ... we DO have an extra bed... if you want to stay here tonight, that's fine...

Sarah: ... *nods* Thanks, Todd... *now realizes how ODD it felt to call him that... she tries not to think of everything ELSE they did... she gets into one of the extra beds, facing away from them* ...

Key: ... *gets into bed, grabs the pill bottle and holds it out to Todd for him to open*

Todd: ... *he takes the bottle from Key and opens it, giving Key a pill, then taking one himself* Good night, Key... *curious, he takes off his hoodie, then his shirt. He just stares at the chain tattoos on his body. Still screaming that Lucifer owned him. That he was still a slave* ...

Key: ...why are those still there...? Lucifer doesn't control you anymore...

Sarah: ...? *pulls her sleeve back and almost groans at the fact the chains were still there--a painful reminder of the things she had done under Lucifer's influence* ...

Todd: *slowly shakes his head* ... I don't know... I really wish they'd just go away... *shuddering, he shuts his eyes and lays down on the bed*

Key: *takes her pill, and puts an arm over Todd, holding him close--she had missed him, more than she realized* ... I'm sorry for screaming at you...

Sarah: *can't help but listen in* ...

Todd: ... I deserved it, Key... I didn't know what I was doing, but I deserved it. You shouldn't have to put up with that.

Key: ...m'still sorry... but I still... still love you...

Sarah: *her heart sinks when she hears this. sure, she had forced Todd to fall in love with her, but... her feelings were real. she was in love with Todd, and there was nothing she could do about it* ...

Sam: You don't HAVE to obey him, Todd!

Todd: *ignores Sam*

Sarah: *steps back to avoid him* You're your own person, Todd! Don't you remember when Lucifer said you'd be joining us, how you refused?? The only reason you stayed was because I made you stay, and I was wrong to do that!! D:>

Key: *can't think of anything to say, so she just stays alert*

Todd: *he swipes at her again* y-you... YOU'RE A LIAR!! I LIAR!!

Sam: *stays out of Todd and Sarah's way* D8

Sarah: *dodges him again* I know I haven't been truthful to you before, Todd, but PLEASE, listen to me this ONE time! You need to break Lucifer's hold on you, you need to FIGHT him!

Key: *stays back* D: ...

Todd: *he pauses for a moment* N-no... y-you can't... you can't fight him... he... *he shakes his head, becoming confused* no, we were so happy, Sarah... so HAPPY... why did you leave...??

Sam: *is slightly relieved when Todd seems to be calming down*

Lucifer: *he smirks* ... I suggest you run then, Sarah. You've hurt your father's feelings. and people who hurt my feeling don't get to live.

Todd: D:> !!

Sarah: *holds her ground, still keeping the gun leveled* If I run, you'll kill Todd... I can't let you do that.

Lucifer: *he smiles pleasantly, then makes Sarah's chain tattoos glow red - they feel freshly made, scalding hot. A whole minute of the burning*

Todd: SARAH! D8>

Sarah: *drops the gun, and collapses to the ground, SCREAMING, clawing at the tattoos, trying to rip them out, to make it STOP...!*

Lucifer: *stops them from burning after the minute has passed* You've brought this upon yourself, Sarah. Now... run.

Todd: DDD8>

Sarah: *terrified, her skin still stinging from the intense pain, she scrambles to her feet and flees... flee to WHERE? they were in her room... there was only one place she could go. she runs to Key's room, and bangs on the door* D8>

Lucifer: *as soon as he sees Sarah leave, he puts his hand on Todd's forehead* ... Kill Sarah. She has betrayed us.

Todd: *nods, staring ahead blankly*

Lucifer: *let's go of his head*

Todd: *walks out without a word*

Sam: *sitting on the bed. He sighs*

Sarah: *bangs on the door* LET ME IN! D8>

Key: ?? *gets up and opens the door* D:<!! *slams the door closed again*

Sarah: *puts her foot in the door to keep it from closing* I swear, I'm not here to hurt you! D:>

Todd: *keeps walking*

Sam: Yeah right! D:< You'll just try handing us over to your "MASTER"!

Sarah: *stumbles into the room and closes the door, locking it* Y-Yeah, he's going to... oh my god...

Key: *stays well away from her, not wanting to be mind-controlled* ...what did you DO?

Sarah: ...I r-rebelled... he was going to kill Todd, I couldn't let that happen...

Todd: *at that moment, he smashes the door open, and stares at Sarah, shaking* ... Master has sent me to kill you, Sarah...

Sarah: D-Don't even try it, he won't listen...!

Sarah: !! *ducks under the swipe then kicks him in the stomach* I DID betray Lucifer, Todd--to save YOUR LIFE!!

Key: *doesn't know what to do--she didn't want to hurt Todd, but in this state, he was likely to try to kill them too* D:>

Todd: *swipes at her again* MY LIFE DOESN'T MATTER IF LOYALTY IS AT STAKE!! WE DO AS HE COMMANDS - THAT'S OUR LIFE!!

Sam: How the HELL did Lucifer twist his brain so he thinks like THIS?? DB/

Sarah: *yelps as he catches her arm, ripping her sleeve* You have no idea what kind of power Lucifer has--A LITTLE HELP WOULD BE NICE! D8>

Sam: *he nods slightly, then tries taking Todd form behind, putting him in a choke-hold*

Key: *tries to get him from behind as well, grabbing him and putting her arms around him, pinning his arms to his sides* Cut it out, Todd!! D:<

Sarah: *gets back up and tries to recover from the shock of Todd's attack--if she was going to try to influence Todd, she had to do it quick. she steps closer, hoping that Key will be able to hold him back long enough*

Todd: *he flips Key over his shoulder, stepping away from them* D8< ...

Sam: Key! Are you okay?? D8>

Key: !! *gets up, more startled than hurt* Y-Yeah, I'm fine...

Sarah: ...Todd... Todd, I know you can hear me, you need to stop this...!

Todd: All the way across our bodies... I feel so... PROUD... come on, we need to get dressed. *gets up and does so*

Sarah: *when he gets out of bed, she isn't pleased to see that Todd's right--she quickly puts her clothes on, pulling up her hood to hide the chains on her neck and face* ... you ready, Todd?

Todd: *puts his hoodie on* Now I am. Let's g -

Sarah: *jumps slightly at the alarm, and runs out the door, headed for the teleporters*

Mikenno: *joins them, still looking somewhat depressed*

Everyone: *heads for the teleporter*

Mikenno: ...BAD NIGHT.

Sarah: WHAT HAPPENED?

Mikenno: *glances at Ryu*

Ryu: *catches him looking, and glares at him*

Mikenno: *looks away* ...DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT.

Todd: WELL, HOPEFULLY ALL THE BLOOD CAN CHEER YOU UP, HUH?

Lucifer: *still smirking*

Eclipse: *glares at Lucifer*

Voice: TELEPORTER ACTIVATED, PLEASE STEP FORWARD.

Everyone: *does*

Mikenno: *snarls, and immediately charges forward, burning everything in his path*

Sarah: o___o;

Everyone: *fights*

Todd: *watches Mikenno, a smile on his face, then starts slaughtering things himself*

Sam: *shoots things* <:/ ...

Lucifer: *looks over at Key and Sam. Something MUST be done with them...*

Key: *claws and stabs things, trying not to look at Todd* ...

Sarah: *fights, shooting whatever got too close... she sees Lucifer and follows his gaze, wondering what he was planning*

Mikenno: *viciously kills everything*

*they fight, and they fight*

Someone: RETREAT!!

Everyone: *heads back to the strongholds*

Lucifer: *decides to make Sam kill Key. Yes. That would work* Todd, Sarah... join me in your room. Mikenno, do not follow. I do not need you at the moment. *walks off*

Todd: ! *he follows*

Mikenno: *goes to his room, head down*

Sarah: ... *follows after Lucifer*

*in the room*

Lucifer: We need to get rid of Key and Sam. I've already come up with a plan.

Todd: What is this plan, Master?

Lucifer: We're going to make Sam kill Key.

Todd: ... w... why?

Lucifer: *he cocks a brow at Todd* ... "why"?

Sarah: *looks at Todd, then at Lucifer. She didn't like the look on Lucifer's face...*

Todd: W-well, I mean... why KILL Key? W-we could make her join us, and -

Lucifer: Todd, stop breathing.

Todd: !! *suddenly finds himself unable to breathe. He lets out tiny choking gasps as he suffocates*

Sarah: !!! Todd--!! *looks at Lucifer* Stop it--PLEASE!! D8>

Lucifer: *staying concentrated on Todd* ... No, I don't think I will. I don't have much use for him anymore, unlike Mikenno... and he's annoyed me.

Todd: *still unable to breathe, he gives Lucifer a begging sort of look*

Sarah: *knowing Lucifer was truly cruel enough to kill Todd, she pulls out her weapon and holds it against Lucifer's forehead* LET HIM GO. NOW!! D8<

Todd: *as Lucifer's concentration breaks, he falls to his knees, gasping hungrily for air, coughing roughly*

Lucifer: *there is slight anger in his voice* ... Sarah... you've angered me. Very much.

Sarah: *hears the anger in his voice, and has to try very hard to keep her hand from shaking, but she doesn't lower her weapon* I-I don't have to listen to you, Lucifer. I don't wantto be your slave anymore.
