Ah-HA!! â¦Sort of. It does explain a lot, but still, the most urgent questions are left unansweredâ¦well, duh, what would be the point in answering them now? Drives me nuts, thoughâ¦Where did Iris really come from? What does he really need? What does he really want? What is wrong with Raguel? Where did he come from? Why would sacrificing Iris save anything?
God, Iris IS like Colette, despite the fact that they act not at all similarâ¦no wonder I like him so muchâ¦

What am I? What am I? Such a hard question to answerâ¦An arachnoid. Corryn is an arachnoid. At least, were I forced to give name to form, that is the name I would give him. Well, his species, anyways.
So the question now (ONE OF the questions now) is, how does Valkyre being an archangel figure into Raguelâs plans? For that matter, what does he need with Irisâ blood? And why on earth is Iris so attached to Corryn? Trickery? Delusion? Or was Corryn the only bright spot in the hell of the labs so long ago?
And I still wonderâ¦what did Iris do, that he is so afraid of himself?

Obviously Iris was NOT made in a lab (which I kind of figured ever since Valkyre asked Iris where he came from and Iris said, âI remember the lab,â not just âThe lab,â ) but that doesnât help!! What is he, then?!And on a side note, I also sympathize with your/ Raguelâs opinion of the worldâ¦however, I donât think that it is too far gone. There is still hopeâ¦hope for us before the need for Irisâ blood.
Let the records show that I consider that even further potent foreshadowing. Like Coletteâs letter to Lloyd at the beginning of Tales of Symphonia.

The only problem is, it only applies if this âbig, ominous, but undetailed and unnamed governmental thingieâ is headed by three people. âTriâ equals âthree,â after all. Hey, more math I can do! ^.^
Failing that, you could also try the word âmonolith.â You can refer to a âmonolithic government,â soâ¦
I dunno. Probably youâve already found a better appellation anywaysâ¦ne? ~.^
Besides, itâs nice to have a chapter like this sometimes, especially after a rash of info and action like there just was. It helps you process and get all your thoughts back up and with it.
