PennyxDreadfulKeep in mind that when JK started writing this, it WAS the early 90's. It wouldn't have made sense for her to base it in the future. Hell, I'm pretty sure I even started reading the series in the late 90's.

PennyxDreadfulThe Playstation (the PSX/Ps1 mind you) was released in 1995, dear ^-^. According to JK's website, Harry was born on July 31, 1980. His first year at Hogwards was in 1991. You can do the math from there ^-^;;. You CAN go to JK's official website but it's sooooo slow. I'll link you here instead. It's a much more informative site anyway. JK tends to link to it herself quite a bit: http://www.hp-lexicon.org/wizards/harry.html

PennyxDreadfulOh mi'gods! I'm telling you. My fic is glitched all to hell here for some reason. Check it out on the link I gave you earlier, at FF.net or at Schnoogle if you want to see it in all its unglitched, well-punctuated glory. >.>;;. I loaded the same files. I wonder what's wrong with them here.

Heh, actually the HP series begins in the early 90's, not present day

PennyxDreadfulYou had me worried with those errors. o.o I think it's a formating error though. It doesn't show up at any other place I have it uploaded. Heh, I'm not making excuses for myself. It just seems to be a glitch. Case-in-point: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2618802/2/

PennyxDreadfulThanks for the comment on Chapter Two. If you see any mistakes, kindly point them out next time ^-^...or this time actually...If you could tell me where you saw an punctuation errors. I don't edit my own work. I send it to my beta and generally she catches all my mistakes. Sometimes I miss some of her edits though >.>;;.

Caliginosity is post-HBP. Fanfiction generally isn't what the writer sees happening, it's just what they would like to see happen...or just whatever they would like to write about at moment...

I'm pretty sure I am older than you. ^-^;; I'm not ancient mind you >.>;;, just in high school.

If a man pampers his servant from childhood, he will turn out to be stubborn. (Proverbs 29:21 NAB)

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, on your own intelligence rely not. (Proverbs 3:5 NAB)

So that last one was neither...but I still find it disturbing...Don't get the idea that I'm trying to convince you to denounce your faith. I just don't think, despite popular belief, that the Bible is THAT crucial to Christianity, nor should it be.

I do have a yahoo account but I'll have to redownload YIM. I don't suppose you have AIM or MSN? I certainly wouldn't mind talking to you. I'm not trying to pick a fight. I just genuinely enjoy discussing/debating religion with others. Not sure why ^-^;; I just find it enjoyable.

Well, Grey's Anatomy distracted me earlier but now I'm off to read your fic-

((I had to post that in two comments because I length I believe. Hope I'm not breaking any rules. >.>;;. You might want to e-mail me if you want to respond...just in case...))

PennyxDreadfulI understand completely where you're coming from. I was raised in Alabama, strictly as a Baptist. Even at a young age I realized that I didn't so much agree with the Bible. Don't get me wrong, I think Christianity is a great religion in many aspects but it can cause as much harm as good. I just can't agree with some of the hate it teaches. I could go on for ages, but I'll just point out two major points that are considered socially unacceptable by todays society, sexism and slavery - (Just like the homosexuality quote you gave me, these are directly from the Bible):

Paul points out in New Testament Romans that "the natural use" of women is to provide men with sex. (Romans 1:27)

By words no servant can be trained; for he understands what is said, but obeys not. (Proverbs 29:19 NAB)

However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5 NLT)

PennyxDreadfulW007. Heh, I'm glad you're making such a "sacrifice". I'm not Christian (It's only an assumption. For all I know, you could be Jewish or any other number of faiths) myself (proudly eclectic pagan) but I have argued homosexuality from a Christian standpoint. One, there's little enough love in this world as it is. Who's to say love in wrong? Two, what about the population problem? ^-^;; Could homosexuality just be a way of keeping the population in check? Cases like that have certainly been found in nature. Hehe, either way, I just hope you enjoy my fic.

I'll start reading yours now. I just warn you though, I have a tendency to give criticism. Written in the sixth grade or not, I don't think my two-cents will hurt.
